Great game from the Red Sox as they defeat the Rangers by the score of 8-1. Beckett was great tossing up five shutout innings and striking out 7. That was huge. Coco and Lowell combined for 7 of the 8 runs that were batted in tonight(the other one run coming from an RBI triple by Jacoby). Both Coco and Lowell had 3-hit games. Lowell drove in 4 and Coco drove in 3. Great games by both, especially Lowell though because he is fresh off the DL. Nice to see him coming through. I'm also really happy to see Coco hitting very well. Coco never really got a fair shake with Boston and I'm glad to see him get at least a bit of one. So that was the big thing about tonight's game anyway, the winning. Also Coco and Jacoby hit back-to-back triples. Yes. That is pretty much made of ridiculous. Jacoco Power? Yes.

Anywayyysss onto the other games that matter. The Twins and White Sox both won today and both by the score of 10-2. Twins were against the Tigers and White Sox were against the Angels. However, the Blue Jays have decided to be awesome and help out the Red Sox(and possibly themselves -- they are an interesting dark horse candidate for the wild card) by winning against the Rays by the score of 6-4 thanks to the workhorse awesome of Roy Halladay. So now the lead is down to 2.5 games. Also with the Red Sox' win, it has officially knocked Kansas City out of the Wild Card race. However, they're still in it for the AL Central(through Math people, math). So anyways that's the gist of what's going down right now. :D Good wins, good ball, chilling out and maxing relaxing all cool.
