Before I delve into the postgame wrapup, I'm going to repeat this for the final time just so everybody hears it: JASON VARITEK WAS NOT VOTED IN BY THE FANS. JASON VARITEK WAS NOT VOTED IN WITH ONE OF TITO'S PICKS. VARITEK WAS VOTED IN BY THE PLAYERS. Thank you. Man I keep hearing all this shit about Red Sox fans or Tito about "how stupid they were" for voting in Varitek and what not. It wasn't either of them. I will call out Red Sox fans for stupid shit, like voting in Pedroia. I like Pedroia and all, and maybe he deserved a reserve role(only if Brian Roberts gets voted in too) but Kinsler should've been starter. I'll call out Tito if he does dumb shit too, like some of his moves the night before. But honestly this was not their faults. It was the player's faults. They voted him in and I think everybody involved are extremely embarrassed. At least they should be. Okay now that that is out of the way.

Red Sox win a close one 1-0 thanks to the stellar pitching of Daisuke Matsuzaka and an RBI single from Manny Ramirez in the bottom of the 8th. It's good to be back home. It was a really great pitcher's duel with Dice and Scott Baker going toe to toe. Dice didn't factor into teh decision but Okajima did and he stranded an inherited runner. That's unheard of! Maybe this will be the beginning of some awesome? Who knows. Tampa Bay lost too so it's back to 4 games. That's a start. And the ultra mega debate of suck is now on hand to debate whether to root for the Yanks or to root for the Rays...I just root for long ballgames and blown out bullpens from both sides.
