I know i keep saying this but the course is so much fun.  It's the best thing in the world being able to kayak and climbing all week and get paid to do it.  This week was nothing amazingly different.  We went for a bit of a paddle around the harbour in Valentia and learned some new skills.  I had my new boat, it's so lovely.  We were learning to high brace at one point.  Peter (our instructor) was standing in the water testing people's skills.  To do this he would try and capsize up and we had to brace.  To make it more of a challange for me I had to close my eyes.  It was a great thing to do and I really learned to trust my hips.  Forget the bracing, I just used my hips the whole time...

Climbing hasbeen fun too.  Challenging but fun.  I'm climbing routes way harder than I ever imagined i'd be doing.  It's cool.  I'm the only girl in my group who has any experience so all the lads are making me go up really hard stuff.  What's cool though is that i'm getting up them.  I'm surprising myself, loads.  I think though once I get on a route my pride makes me get to the top no matter what it takes.  I'm seriously not giving up, ever.

We went to the Dingle climbing wall yesterday.  A whole day at a climbing wall is very tiring.  It was good though.  I kinda remembered how to climb.  Again.  Initially things wern't working out for me, then one of the lads told me to take three steps with my feet for every two moves i made with my hands.  Although i didn't quite manage to do that, it reminded me how important my feet are.  It also reminded me how to move my body.  It was a great feeling to move properally on the wall.  I'm definitely going to try and get over there more often.

/>My new house is cool.  I love it to bits.  It's still a total mess with boxed everywhere and clothes all over the floor.  But the bathroom is all sorted as is the kitchen, mostly.  The rest of the rooms still need work.  And then once everything has a home it'll probably be time to give it a good cleaning again.
