I can hardly keep up with myself these days. I expected life to get slower and more simple when we moved here. HA!

* My car goes in the shop tomorrow to get the exhaust fixed and to get its MOT (for my American friends, that's like an inspection). Fingers crossed that it passes!! It will be fantastic to finally drive a car again that doesn't sounds like a sports car!! ::grin::

* Friday, I go to the asthma clinic for the first time. A little nervous about it. Had a pretty bad attack last night - bad enough I had to use my emergency inhaler. I got a wee bit light headed. Lucky for me, I have an understanding hubby and a great colleague at work who also has the stuff but is quite a bit more experienced than I am and she's helping me through it. I described it as this huge block standing right in front of me right now. I know at some point it will move or even get smaller but right now I think about it a lot and have to really watch myself while I'm adjusting to it.

* I'm on holiday next week. Yay!! I've only had my job for 2 1/2 months and I already get a vacation! We're not really doing anything and since we're damn near broke (again) so we can't go away anywhere. October pay packet should be better than normal so hopefully this won't last long. We are planning on taking a drive up north a bit one day and over to the West Coast to visit Culzean Castle and spend some time at the seaside and hopefully even with my Friend M. I miss her. And I get to spend the day with Friend H and her twin sons on Monday.

* The week I return back to work, I'm going on a FAM tour of the castle hotels around Edinburgh. (Yeah, I know ... but its work, what can I do? ::wink::) On these, we get showed around to the different room types, all the facilities, restaurants, and if we're lucky, we get offered a cup of tea and in some cases, even a meal! I'll let you know how that turns out!

* The SAME week, we're all due (all the people at work) to go have dinner at a hotel in Edinburgh and stay the night! I don't yet know if we'll all have our own rooms or if we'll share. But if we share, that wouldn't be a bad thing. Just wish P could come with us...

* THEN Boss R and I are supposed to go up north to Aviemore for a game of golf, dinner, and an overnight at the hotel. With anyone else, it would be awkward but not with R. He's way cool and I totally trust him. (AND it doesn't hurt that he knows that if he got out of line I'd kill him! ::grin::)

Gosh ... is that all that's going on ?? ... I'm sure I've left something out ... oh well, when I remember, I'll post it!
