On a whim, I decided to rewatch Sukisho. That series has stuck with me for a long time. Not quite sure why. But for some reason, it's the one series that I never go a day without thinking of.

When you evaluate the individual components, it seems to have every BL "soap opera" cliché in the book, but... I dunno, for some reason, when it's all put together, it really resonates with me.

Maybe it's the art style? The acting? The characters themselves? The in-your-face psychological drama? Can't put my finger on it. But every time I finish watching it, I'm in the best mood of my life.

What about y'all? Is there any specific series you follow that has a special place in your heart, unconditionally?
