There really aren't enough people talking about this show. Therefore today's blog is about Eli Stone Episode 2.3.
I've become enthralled with the new season and storyline. This episode was a very serious vision episode, without the dancing and singing, and I think I like this version better.
We are getting more into fantasy mixed with faith which is sometimes a rare combination. Eli has spoken with god in episode 1, realized he is a prophet in episode 2 and episode 3 takes him into fully believing his visions.

The main point of visions is that he is seeing the future.. but we still are not clear if we are seeing the "true" future or a future that Eli can change. Thus Eli's dad left him with a journal that details all of Eli's future actions. If Eli had doubts of his visions, he could easily consult this journal to see if he is following the right path and making the right decisions.

Well Eli rejects the journal and avoids the temptation of knowing what decisions to make and their outcomes. He literally burns the book and is relying on his faith of his own visions rather than the visions of his father.

I love this because this episode shows how in the future Eli will take a case to the supreme court, but he is unsure of what case and how it will unfold. The twist at the end shows allies on the other side of the court and its just so great because it lays out the arc of the season.

Let's just hope Eli Stone makes a full second season. I'm loving it.
