To create your own solar system is to play god in a way, even if you're just putting it down on paper. Though you never know what you create when you put something down on paper, perhaps somewhere, in the middle of space my universe will burst to life. At least it exists in my head so far.

GOOD EVENING!

As I said in my last post, I have begun writing a children's book(s). It is actually going very well! The characters are forming themselves and they are beautiful! And the setting is amazing! I have decided to use the universe I created from a previous story that I began writing. It is a series of planets so I can pretty much do whatever I want with it :P

So yeah it's about a Scientist named Professor Q (who isn't human by the way) who decides to help create humans so that there are more of them in Nouvelle Terre (or NT on the planet Xin[or something like that]). But Professor Q is very silly sometimes and makes a lot of mistakes so he accidentally gives the kids super powers when it is strictly forbidden to do so (because humans feed on power). So he runs away but continues to pay for the kids to be taken care of.

The kids names are Beatrice and Benjamin Bubble and they are siblings (purely because they have the same creator - not because they come from the same parents). They are easily mislead into doing the wrong thing like robbing a museum and other such things.

The point of the stories is to show how easy it is the do the wrong thing but it's even easier to be good. So basically teaching kids right from wrong in a very... extreme and creative way. It is called 'The Misadventures of Beatrice and Benjamin Bubble' and then each book with have a different sub-title.

OMG I LOVE THIS SONG (and the video clip is freaking awesome)

HOKAY OKAY MOVIE REVIEWS:

Margot at the Wedding
This movie was... interesting. It is similar in style to the Squid and the Whale and featured those same repressed issues within a family and sexual tension. Nichole Kidman was her usual irritating self, it was unfortunate her character didn't die. Jack Black was amazing - I think it was a good show of his acting strength for him to take a role like that. He played a very annoying and pathetic character and did it with integrity.

The Painted Veil
This was a brilliant, tension filled film that really opened my eyes. The story was about a newly wed couple who didn't get to know each other very well before getting married. They then put themselves in a very dangerous situation where their lives are constantly in danger and compete against each other to see who is the most stubborn. Naomi Watts really surprised me by giving a pretty damn good performance and Edward Norton continues to show his fantastic acting skill.

The Duchess
Very well made film about the life and times of Georgiana Cavendish, the Duchess of Devonshire. Keira Knightly and Ralph Fiennes were the Duchess and Duke respectively. They both gave very good performances (and that means a lot coming from me as I dislike Miss Knightly quite a bit). The costuming in this film is award winning! I'd see it again just to take another look at those beautifully made costumes!
