Tutorial #29 for Photoshop CS, not translateable. Requested by bubbles_of_life . (thanks to dusty_memories for help on the coloring) from this: & this: to this:
Take your second picture of Gaspard and paste it on top of your first. Using your elliptical marquee tool on the second image, cut around Gaspard until he blends in well with his first picture. Go Edit>Free Transform and shrink him down a bit. (see above)
Create a new fill layer: fffc00. Set to soft light, 70%.
Create a selective color layer: ~SELECTIVE COLOR~ Reds: -100, +1, +100, +100 Yellows: -7, 0 , -25, 0 Magentas: -100, -55, -11, 0 Neutrals: +73, -21, -80, +30
Create a new selective color layer. ~SELECTIVE COLOR~ Reds: -100, +71, +64, +34 Yellows: 0, 0, -60, 0 Neutrals: 0, 0, 0, +10 Blacks: 0, 0, 0, +30
Create a new brightness/contrast layer.
~BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST~ Brightness: 0 Contrast: +7
Take this texture by toybirds . Flip onto its side. Take your eraser tool. Find a circular brush, and type in these settings: Master Diameter: 21 px; Hardness 0%. Now erase all of the texture except for a small part on the bottom. In order to erase in a straight line, hold "shift" down on your keyboard while erasing.

Take this texture by ownthesunshine and set to multiply. Flip vertically.

Take this texture by 22room and set to screen.

You're done! Please don't copy exactly; be creative. :)
Tutorial #30 for Photoshop CS, not translateable. Requested by sunsequined. from this: to this:
Flip base horizontally.
Create a new fill layer: ffffff. Drag it behind your base. (In order to do this, you'll need to make your base a regular, unlocked layer. Double click on the layer in the layer pallette and a window should pop up. Push ok)
Now take your elliptical marquee tool, feather at 8 px, and cut away the black strip at the top. Your base should now blend to white at the top, but the black strip at the bottom stays for now.
Create a color balance layer. ~COLOR BALANCE~ Shadows: +1, +32, +100 Midtones: -11, -1, +49 Highlights: -21, +4, +36
Create a selective color layer: ~SELECTIVE COLOR~ Reds: -100, +100, 0, 0 Whites: 0, 0, +100, 0 Neutrals: +4, +45, +100, 0
Take this texture by ewanism . Set to lighten and cut away all the cloudy parts. Flip so the white part is at the bottom.

Take this texture by xswaniconsx. Go Image>Adjustments>Invert and set to multiply. Flip horizontally.

Now take this texture by pathfinder-stock @ deviantart and paste it ontop of your image. (the background is transparent)

Take this texture by thatonebrunette and set to lighten. Flip horizontally.

You're finished. :) Again, don't copy exactly. Please and thank you. (coloring is fine, but don't copy both my coloring & technique (composition, textures, text, cropping, etc). |
