I'm not even kidding anymore/exagerrating when I keep saying that I HAVE NOT STARTED ANYTHING. It's always the same thing for me, isn't it? Complain on every journal/internet space I claim to be mine about how much work I have to do but never get off my ass to actually do it. Time to stop thinking that I'm invincible and capable of writing good things in one night, because that's just stupid thinking.
Slow internet pisses me off. Internet and television are basically reasons enough for me to want to live in America. Well, kindof. That and your damn ribs. Your tasty, tasty ribs. And we don't get free-flowing Coke here which can be a good or bad thing. I mean, Coke costs waaay too much.

Instead of doing any work today, I went to see Iron Man, and boy was it SUPER FUCKING AWESOME IN SO MANY LEVELS (and I actually really liked the ending which is rare) and oh man the music! TOM MORELLO! (OMG the credits says he's one of the guards! AAH!) *GUSH GUSH GUSH etc* Expect a rambly rant and other movie reviews soon (hopefully after I actually get some work done even if I'm really tempted to just let it all go now).

Btw,
Photobucket
It's Trent Reznor's 43rd! YAY! LET'S ALL BLAST THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL EVERYBODY BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW IT'S PROBABLY STILL THE BEST NIN ALBUM EVERRRRR

Oh damn, it's Trent Reznor's birthday which also means it's already Saturday. Fuck.

Because it's Friday and I had no idea (go figure), I missed Rove. Which made me annoyed. But then Friday Night Project was on and David Tennant makes me happy (and I got to waste more time after watching The Daily Show). Yay!

This is rather amusing. Here's Britain's list of their most loved and hated celebrities:
Most Loved
1. Paul McCartney - 14.9%
2. Lewis Hamilton - 11.2%
3. Gary Lineker - 11.2%
4. Simon Cowell - 9.7%
5. David Beckham - 9.4%

Most hated
1. Heather Mills - 28.3%
2. Amy Winehouse - 11.4%
3. Victoria Beckham - 10.2%
4. Kerry Katona - 10%
5. Simon Cowell - 4.6%

1. Amusing how dear ol' Simon's on both lists...Glad to know he's more loved though. How can anybody hate Simon Cowell! (despite the atrocious taste in V-necked tight shirt things)
2. Who's Kerry Katona and what has she done?
3. Amy Winehouse lolololololol.
4. Awwww....everybody loves their dear Beatle. Speaking of the Beatles, Ringo never gets any love, it's sad.
5. If they love David so much why do they hate Victoria? Guess the voters are mostly crazy straight women or gay men?
6. Don't know who's Lewis Hamilton or Gary Lineker.
7. What where's Pete Doherty in this? He's just about the male version of Amy Winehouse.
8. Hahaha no one from the royal family?
9. I honestly thought Ricky Gervais would be a favourite, to be honest.
10. What, no James Bond? No fuss about 'that scene where he comes out of the water'? (Wtf is with that scene anyway? I feel like a flippin' asexual watching the last Bond film)

Have some memes stolen from [info]dictumsbecause I secretly like memes and Urh....I really have nothing better to do. And by 'better' I really mean non-school-related-thingys.

- List your top ten favourite men, athletes, celebrities, and/or fictional characters.
- Answer all the questions listed.
- Make a post!

Urgh, my men choices are so blatantly obvious even I'm sick of it. Sortof. Let's be a bit different this time!
1. Tony Stark (Yes! Let's start with the last movie I saw! Easy!)
2. Rik (The Young Ones)
3. Bill Bailey
4. Kipp Steadman (Less Than Perfect)
5. Rob Fleming (High Fidelity. Yes, I actually read)
6. Jon Stewart (well, there goes being a bit different! I suck)
7. Gregory House
8. Dylan Moran
9. Thom Yorke
10.Uh... Simon Amstell. (Never Mind the Buzzcocks)

So, what do you like most about #2?
When he bitches and writes ANGRY POETRY!

If you could do anything to #4, what would it be?
If Less Than Perfect was sortof real and I was in it, I'd be mean to him too. Like swap his shampoo for peanut butter or something.

Who would you choose between #5 and #7?
Rob would possibly piss me off less. House lives on the will to piss people off. And Rob Fleming has a big record collection, which is good.

Out of a ten, how much would you rate #1?
Urhhh...Robert Downey Jr owned this...and WAS rather tasty, I never got that vibe from the comic books. I'd say 8-9.

What do you find most attractive about #1?
Y'know when he just fires out those sarky lines? I get a House vibe from him. It's quite sad. AND he has cool facial hair.

If you could go out with #3, what type of date would you go on?
Let's go onstage with keyboards and guitars and make parodies of everything! YES!

If #8 was a type of season, which season would he be?
Something drafty. Autumn or winter I suppose. Which is good.

Why is #10 not higher up on your list?
I don't watch enough of Never Mind the Buzzcocks? (it takes ages to load y'know)

So what does #10 have to do to be brought up higher?
I didn't know the list was in some order!

Which two people would you wanna be stuck with on a desert island?
Tony Stark would fly us the heck out there. Simon Amstell would be the other because the last two questions were mean to him.

Marry, shag, or kiss.
Marry: Thom Yorke.
Shag: Simon Amstell. I'd probably have to rape the bastard (those who know of the man's sexual orientation would know what I mean).
Kiss: Meh, whoever on the list

What do you hate most about #7?
America's seen more of his show than I have.

Have you ever thought about how you'll react when you meet #3?
Hand him spoons and lead him to a grand piano.

Have you seen #1 and #2 together on TV before?
Doubt it, I'd have to if they have been on Tv together!

Have you ever dreamed about #6?
Probably an episode of his show. Yeah, isn't that awesome, I watch fake news in my dreams.

Who would you take to prom with you?
Dylan Moran. Cynical and boozy sounds like a good prom date.

Cuddle, glomp, kiss.
Cuddle: Simon Amstell. Even if Bill and Stewart look more teddybear-like.
Glomp: Greg House. Yeah, everybody let's play glomp the cripple!
Kiss: I'll be boring and like 'yeah, let's kiss Robert Downey because Chris Martin's wife didn't get a chance mwahahaha'

Out of all of them - who would you:

Kick? House. Kick the angry cripple, mwahhahaha!

Kiss? HOW MANY TIMES did this come up already! I don't care!

Pinch cheeks? Yeah, I wanna pinch Rik Mayall's non-existant cheeks. Especially when he's the angry psudo-anarchist.

Runaway with? Dylan Moran because he can't run.

Act like an idiot with? Simon Amstell, Bill Bailey or Jon Stewart.

Cry on? Rob Fleming. Over his top ten list of tunes to be crying along to.

Take to see your parents? Damn I have some rather unparent-friendly peoples on my list. Kipp the secretary. I'd introduce him to people as 'secretary'.

Bungee jump with? Bill Bailey. I imagine him going *CRAZY EYES* which would rock. It'd be like bungee jumping with Jack Black!

Cross dress with? Any of them really. I'll be Doctor Who, whoever's available can be my glamourous assistant.

Swap lives with for a day? Thom Yorke.

1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc).
2. Put it on shuffle.
3. Press play.
4. For every question, type the song that's playing.
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button.
6. Don't lie and try to pretend your cool.
7. When you're finished tag some other people to do it!

WAKING UP: Nightwish-Phantom of the Opera [Is this a cue for me to change my alarm clock tone?]
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL: QOTSA-If Only [Uhm...the riff works. I think]
FALLING IN LOVE: The Beatles-With a Little Help From My Friends [sure...if anything atleast I got a happyish song]
FIGHT SONG: Muse-Take a Bow [I always imagine this to be more of a 'RARRHH I WON THIS FIGHT' song.]
BREAKING UP: Deep Purple-Woman From Tokyo [I don't know, I generally consider Deep Purple as happy music.]
PROM: The Living End-Bloody Mary [Pft, if only my prom was this cool, they played 'Paradise City' and the music sucked from then onwards.]
LIFE: Aqualung- Brighter than Sunshine [Not really life, but urh. Man my list sucks.]
MENTAL BREAKDOWN: Joe Satriani- Surfing With The Alien [well it's a pretty damn good mental breakdown! I mustave been HIGH!!! *cues retarded headbopping tiems!*]
DRIVING: Metallica-Damage, Inc [Awww I haven't heard this in so long! And I suppose it works. If I was running over grannies and small children and hungry emos]
FLASHBACK: String Quartet Tribute to Dream Theater-YTSE Jam [See, if my flashbacks are visions of me in Victorian clothing...]
GETTING BACK TOGETHER: RATM-Mic Check [Lmao oh dear aren't I glad I don't do these playlists to decide what to play in real life..]
WEDDING: Muse-Knights of Cydonia [It's on an actual shuffle, I swear. Also, my wedding sounds like it'd be pretty batshit crazy.]
BIRTH OF CHILD: System of a Down-Toxicity [Ahahaha someone should so do this, definitely pwns those parents who play their kids Mozart in the womb.]
FINAL BATTLE: Andrew WK-We Want Fun [I like. I just imagined LOTR-style battle scenes set to this. I liiike.]
DEATH SCENE: Harry Chapin-Cats in the Cradle [Not ideal, but I think it's possible. Kinda like that 'Dust in the Wind' sortof way]
FUNERAL SONG: Tom Petty- American Girl [Holy shit this would be the most un-funeralish song I'd ever be able to come up with, which I didn't. Blame the iPod]
END CREDITS: Mighty Mighty Bosstones- Let's Face It [Yay, a happy vibed ending.]

Conclusion: These things never work out for me, if I had to pick a soundtrack to my life, I'd better damn well do it myself. Stupid technology.

Stolen from various cool people: Choose seven of my favourite interests and I'll ramble on about it for as much as I think I should. Go!

I need to re-iconate my journal. Which is always such an annoyingly difficult task for not-enough-icon-space/indecisive/lazy people.
