I smell of...other people. It's gross and I don't really feel like taking a 2am shower...

I'm intending to review all them gigs (well, the past two anyway) but I gotta get the videos out of my phone and it's charging so I can't do that right now (also I wouldn't come up with anything decent that would do any show justice right now) so expect a bulk entry of reviews soon (for me more than you possibly mwahahaha). Anyway, it has been a crazy awesome two nights and with Supergroove coming up soon, we know it's just going to get better (music wise, not inconsiderate-crowd-wise however). Yeah it sucks to be the 5'1 person in gigs, really.

Apparently the prime minister is going to meet up with the university vice chancellor to give him a few hard words about trying to axe the theater and film department. Hellyeeah, go Helen! She's the man. Literally.

Anyway, have a video by the guy from the Black Eyed Peas (or whatever band he's from, I was just guessing) if you haven't seen the entire thing, I suggest that you do.


I would really like to hear your thoughts on this. It completely glamorizes Obama more than anything else I've seen, and it really gets me at that point, that point where media hits you emotionally with celebrities. It's PETA all over again. I kinda liked Obama before I saw this, now I'm just kinda...whoa. I'm not sure anymore. If I were a voting American I would definitely see more complications in who I would choose today, with people who probably don't even give a damn backing up politicians.
Who wants to play spot the celebrity on this? I'm generally horrible at this but I'm guessing guy at the start is Black Eyed Peas guy (although he looks like an actor somewhere), I see John Legend, Eric Christian Olsen (that's his name, right?), woman from Greys Anatomy I think? (either that or she's Cuddy from House, the kinda look similar in black and white...), is that Scarlett Johanssen singing? (WTF?), girl from Pussycat Dolls I think, and uh...Is that Scott Ian from Anthrax??? Waiit it can't be, Scott Ian has different facial hair, who is that bald guy then, he looks familiar!

I dread that someday this is what would become of New Zealand's politics. Mad celebrity-driven stuff. I mean, with the 18 year olds too silly to care, how else are we to get to them? Image is everything it seems.
