So anyway, I'm working on my Halloween costume.  After wearing the same costume for the last five years (at least), I have decided to make a new one.  I decided to go with the lolita trend, and after a flash of brilliance, and I created a Mardi Gras lolita.  However, now that I have started the actual sewing, I am rethinking my choice.  I may finish up and figure out that it wasn't so bad. 

My biggest problem was learning a new a sewing machine.  I had learned the ones at school, and then my mother's ancient machince, followed by learning the one I got for my birthday.  It's a very nice, very basic, machine.  It's beautiful.  All white and sleek.  But it works with minimal hangups, and after a couple of tries I managed to pull the bobbin thread through successfully.  However I occassionally find that my actual sewing skills are what are lacking rather than a deficiancy of the sewing machine.

Eh...it's starting to wear me out.  And hurts if I do it for too long without changing postion.
