Where oh where to begin?

Well, I finally got to meet emosnail for the first time in person about a month or so ago, which was AWESOME, so that's a good place to start. We did not get to hang for nearly as much time as I'd have liked, but it was fun and there was beer and multiple friends involved.

Also I went to PAX 2008, the gaming event up in Seattle, on a media pass. I felt way over my head and my first night I spent wandering around downtown Seattle at 2 in the morning with 2 bags full of stuff trying to find a place to stay, and ended up in a very seedy (and moist...) hostel. You know how sometimes movies will have that weird sickly green lens over the film to make it feel more surreal and desolate? This hostel had that green lens over the entire atmosphere.

A week before my adventures in Seattle, I met a fricking rad guy named Aaron who I've been having a pretty good time with ever since.

I'm also back in school full time and the co-news editor for the Vanguard, which is interesting. A lot more admin-ish than I would prefer (I really don't like having to manage people), but it's been a good learning experience as well, especially in the arts of negotiation and multi-tasking.

Classes are going well, my 2 jobs are going well, and occasionally I even have a few spare hours to play videogames. Life is pretty good. <3
