I'm very very sad. My kitty is missing. He moved into my mom's on Sunday, and he was doing pretty well. I told everyone that he couldn't go outside because he's never been, and they all complied. He spent the first few days hiding in the back of my sister's closet, I brought him downstairs to meet my dad, but he ran right back upstairs. On Tuesday he hid under the couch most of the day, but came out to meet my mom. He would spend most of the days hiding and would come out at night and want some snuggle time, which is pretty much his usual schedule. But then yesterday my mom saw him before she went to work, and no one saw him all day. My mom and sister were busy cleaning the front room for me to move my couches in, then we all helped move my couches and a few other things inside. I looked all over for him yesterday before I left, but couldn't find him. He never came out to snuggle with my sister at bedtime. Today there's been no sign of him either.

But this is a strange house to him, and there's been a lot of commotion, so maybe he has found a way to hide himself really well and he'll come out when things calm down. I really don't see how he would have gotten outside without somebody noticing him. He's a 20 pound cat, he's not the most stealthy thing. But he is really good at hiding. So hopefully he's around here somewhere, but I have my doubts. Please everyone cross your fingers and hope that Buster comes out of hiding soon. We're getting 6 inches of rain between today and tomorrow, I can't stand the thought that he somehow made it outside.
