I almost drove out to his apartment tonight. That would, no doubt, be stupid. (What do I do if she's there, for instance?) But, you know, I couldn't stop crying. No matter how nice Archimedes is to hold, he's still just a teddy bear.

In other news, it just took me half an hour to press my gown and chemise for Saturday's event. I'm sure no one would have noticed if I'd worn it wrinkled, but...I hate doing that, especially when I'd just pulled it from a storage tub. Man, is my gown fuzzy (and it didn't help that Merlin and Nimue were taking turns rolling in it and lying on the trailing bits while I was trying to iron it). I'm going to have to tape the fur off before I wear it (I don't think a lint brush'll do it!).
