“Hey Pop, when’s daddy gonna wake up?” Jamie asked as he climbed into his father’s lap.
“I don’t know buddy,” Sam replied as he wrapped his arms around his son.
“Aunt Sadie said he needs to sleep so his head gets better.”
“Aunt Sadie’s right. Sometimes when people get hurt, they need to sleep until they heal.”
“I wish he would get better soon. I want him to wake up.”
“Me too buddy. Me too.”

One Hour Later:

The door opened slowly, preceded by a gentle knock. “Sam?”
“Hey Sadie.”
“How long’s he been out?” she asked, motioning to the child sleeping at Dean’s side.
“Not long. He said that he always feels better when Dean lies with him, so he thought it might work both ways.”
“That’s sweet. I hope it works too. Listen…can I—um—can I talk to you outside for a minute?”
“Yeah I guess.” With a longing look towards the bed, Sam followed
the doctor out of the room. “Is everything okay?”
“I found something unusual in Dean’s latest set of blood work.”
“What do you mean?”
“He’s pregnant.”
“He’s what? How in the hell is that possible?”
“Honestly, I don’t know.
The potion must have somehow changed his biology.”
“And what—it’s just been dormant the past seven years?”
“I guess so.”
“How far along is he? Is the baby okay?”
“I won’t know until I do an ultrasound.”
“So let’s do that now then.”
“Alright. Let me get the machine.”

Ten minutes later, Sam heard the heartbeats. “Congratulations Sam. You’re having twins. They appear to be three and a half months and perfectly healthy.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Papa, what’s going on?” Jamie asked, waking to the site of his younger father crying, the doctor no where to be seen.
“Nothing’s wrong baby.”
“Then why are you crying?”
“I am?” He asked with wide eyes, voice full of wonder.
“Yeah. You’re daddy’s pregnant.”
“Awesome!” The little boy’s smile was so wide you could see all his teeth. He kissed Dean’s cheek and belly before jumping off the bed and into his papa’s arms. “Can I call Grampa Bobby and tell him?”
“Of course, but make sure you ask Sadie first.”
“Kay,” the boy chirped before kissing Sam and hurrying from the room.
Sam moved his chair closer to the bed and took Dean’s hand in his, laying his other hand on Dean’s stomach. “I need you to wake up now big brother. I need you to open those beautiful green eyes and be okay. I can’t do this without you. Please come back to me baby.
