Winter Break

Chapter 12

Takaki and Hasshi were… almost ready at least. They had managed to take showers, as well as brush their teeth, but had gotten distracted while getting dressed, and were now back making out on the bed. Takaki completely blamed Hasshi for that, looking so incredibly cute when blushing while changing clothes, so it wasn’t like he had had a choice!

“Uuh, I swear if it’s Taku-chan again I’m gonna strangle him…” Takaki groaned when there was a knock on the door again. He glanced down at Hasshi, still shirtless on the bed, and then at the door. He was almost considering shouting that in case it was Kamei he could just go away, but then he heard Fukka’s voice behind the door.

"Gooood morning! Taku-chan told us you're awake, but we're going to go down to breakfast, so you guys better be ready!" Fukka called as loudly as he could, calling right against the door to make sure the pair could hear him. He looked over his shoulder at Kamei, who was trying to hide his obvious interest in what the two would respond with, and looked back at the door with a grin. "If you're done making out anyway~"

Takaki frowned, barely even turning to look towards the door. “No, we’re not done making out so go away!” he shouted at the door without even a second thought - he actually hoped he could have seen through the door how Kamei’s head exploded at that moment in case the boy was with Fukka there… “What? It’s true~” Takaki said with a cute voice as he turned down to look at Hasshi who was blushing furiously under him, gaping his mouth, not being able to even say anything to that. Takaki smirked at Hasshi, thinking the boy looked incredibly cute like this, and leaned down to kiss him, not bothering to even think about the boys on the other side of the door.

"Oi! Don't make me sick before we even get to eat anything!" Kamei exclaimed immediately from behind the door, his anger and shock at hearing that response making him knock insistently on the door with both his hands. Even if they were making out, there was no way he'd let Takaki enjoy it in peace! He forced back his disappointment to knock as annoyingly as he could, ignoring Fukka and Asaka exchanging cautious glances behind him.

Takaki couldn’t help but smirk when he heard Kamei’s furious voice from behind the door. He’d so have to kiss Hasshi in front of Kamei just to see how the boy would react to that… On the other hand, Takaki didn’t want to embarrass Hasshi so he’d have to think about that. “Hm, you think we should go then..? Before that brat breaks down the door…”

Hasshi just nodded quickly, still blushing too badly to get a word from his mouth. Takaki gave one more kiss to Hasshi’s lips before straightening himself up and pulling Hasshi up with him. The boys went to get their shirts before Takaki went to open the door, which Kamei was still banging his fists against.

"Finally!" Kamei exclaimed, stepping back as Takaki and Hasshi opened the door. He had been getting tired of banging as annoyingly as he could on the door, even banging to something that sounded a lot like Shounen no Mama. He crossed his arms, eyes narrowed as he glared at the older boy. "Let's go. Pervert."

"Taku-chan..." Asaka murmured a little worriedly as the boy turned on his heels and stalked down the hallway, apparently satisfied that he had managed to interrupt the couple's private time, at least for a while.

“Hm, you’re not gonna wait for Inoo-chan and Dai-chan..?” Takaki asked, still a little amused smile on his lips. “Isn’t that a little unfair, hurrying us so much if the rest aren’t even finished yet either. Or are they downstairs already?”

"They're already ready and said they'd come down now!" Kamei snapped back, stopping for a moment to turn and glare at Takaki before deciding he didn't want to leave them with just the others after all. He crossed his arms as he kept his glare on Takaki, waiting for them to catch up, as he had gotten pretty far down the hall.

Takaki just met Kamei’s eyes evenly, a little smile still on his lips. He turned to look at Hasshi for a bit, taking the boy’s hand into his own and entwined their fingers. “Jaa, I guess we could go on ahead then, ne?” he said to Hasshi, leaning very close to the boy. Hasshi blushed a bit, but at least didn’t back away, and gave a little nod at Takaki.

"Mou, if everyone's going to be getting some action, I want some too!" Fukka said, putting his hands on his hips and pouting at Takaki. He nodded towards the direction of Inoo and Daiki's room, signaling the pair as well. "Inoo-chan and Dai-chan were making out too! This is so annoying!"

"Don't be stupid!" Kamei snapped at Fukka, fuming at how close Takaki and Hasshi were standing to each other and their intertwined fingers. Fukka moved his arms to cross them, then his pout changed into a teasing smile as he gave a look to Asaka, who met his eyes for a brief moment before turning bright red and looking at the floor.

The only one in the hallway who was more red than Asaka was Hasshi. He still hadn’t even gotten over Takaki straight admitting what they had been doing in their room while still inside, and now all the conversation about making out continued even here!? What was the matter with everyone!? How could they even talk about things like that? Hasshi really hoped the floor would just swallow him, wanting to disappear, instead he just settled for trying to hide behind Takaki for now.

Takaki turned to glance behind his shoulder at Hasshi. “Mm, it would have been better to just stay in our room, ne..?” Takaki asked in a flirty tone but Hasshi didn’t answer. He was angry with Takaki for what he had said earlier to the others about them making out… Or maybe angry wasn’t the best choice of words since Hasshi hadn’t even let go of Takaki’s hand and was leaning against his back, but he was still very upset about it the least!

There was a short, awkward silence as Kamei moved his glare away long enough from Takaki to meet Fukka's sparkling eyes, almost as if suggesting that if it wasn't Asaka, the only other person there he could get some action with would be Kamei. Kamei immediately took a step back, glaring at Fukka. "D-Don't joke about that!"

"What? I'm just entertaining the possibility," Fukka said, pouting again and looking over at Takaki and Hasshi. Takaki didn't seem fazed, but Hasshi looked just as embarrassed as Asaka did. Fukka rolled his eyes and walked over to take Asaka's hand, beginning to walk down the hallway. "Anyway, I'm hungry, and standing here talking about who's getting some action and who isn't is not going to make me less hungry, so let's go already!"

“C’mon Hasshi, we ate pretty little last night, so you’re probably hungry too~” Takaki said, tugging onto the boy’s hand to make him follow him. Not that Takaki was that hungry himself in the first place, he would have been fully content with just making out with Hasshi the next few hours and not even think about food. “You want hot chocolate again, ne?”

* * * * * * * * * *

"Hm, looks like they've gone downstairs..." Inoo said, looking over at the door. He had heard Takaki, Kamei and Fukka's voices faintly, but now he couldn't hear anything at all, so it probably meant the others had gone ahead of them. He turned his eyes back to Daiki, continuing to brush Daiki's hair gently.

“Mm, not even waiting for us…” Daiki said in a little pout, but then decided it was actually better. He stood up when Inoo was done brushing his hair, and turned to face the other boy, a little smile on his lips. “Should I brush Inoo-chan’s hair now..?” Daiki asked cutely, tilting his head a little bit as he lifted his hands to run them both through Inoo’s hair.

Inoo could feel his face turning bright red, but the feeling of Daiki's hands in his hair was so distracting that he didn't care enough to focus on that. A smile came on his lips almost automatically and he nodded a little hesitantly. "Please...~"

Daiki smiled at Inoo cutely, stood on his toes and leaned to press a soft kiss on Inoo’s lips. While Inoo was still standing there, baffled, Daiki walked behind the chair, turning to look at Inoo. “Sit,” he said, the same cute smile still on his lips.

"H-hai!" Inoo replied obediently, hastily rushing to the chair and nearly falling on his face in his scramble to sit down. He sat down and straightened himself, putting his hands in his lap as he stared at Daiki through the mirror.

Daiki glanced through the mirror at Inoo, giggling a little at Inoo’s facial expression. He then turned his eyes to Inoo’s hair, sliding his fingers softly through Inoo’s wavy hair before bringing the hairbrush up to start brushing Inoo’s hair with it.

Inoo slowly relaxed as he felt Daiki running the brush through his hair. He couldn't help but smile at Daiki's expression as the younger boy concentrated on brushing his hair, running his fingers to untangle the tougher strands of tangled hair, biting his lip slightly. It was so cute that he didn't even notice himself relaxing even more as he watched Daiki's expression.

“…What?” Daiki asked cutely, noticing Inoo’s overly content smile through the mirror. Daiki smirked a little bit, quickly wrapping his arms around Inoo’s shoulders and leaned over Inoo’s left shoulder to place a soft kiss on Inoo’s cheek. “Done~”

"Nothing. You just looked cute being all focused on my hair," Inoo said a little quietly, but he kept his smile on his face as he turned around a little in Daiki's arms to smile up at him. "We don't have to go too soon, they're probably not going to wait for us too long..."

“Hmm..?” Daiki hummed, tilting his head so that his cheek was touching a little against Inoo’s. “What do you mean~?”

"E-etto... they're probably hungry, so they won't be patient for too long, so if we take a while to go, they'll just give up on us and go eat, right?" Inoo explained, although it seemed like he was mostly explaining to himself. Even though he was talking with a hint of nervousness in his voice, he was trying his best to keep himself as composed as he could with how flustered he was because of how close Daiki was to him.

Daiki moved his head slightly so that he could see Inoo’s face other than from just the mirror, smirking a little bit at Inoo’s blushing face. Daiki released his arms from around Inoo, placing the hairbrush on the edge of the table before walking around the chair so that he was standing in front of Inoo. He placed his hands on the older boy’s shoulders, looking into Inoo’s eyes for a moment before he leaned closer, pressing his lips very softly against Inoo’s. Daiki wondered how daring he could get, but feeling Inoo’s hands on the sides of his waist as the older boy pulled him a little bit closer in the kiss, Daiki complied with that, soon settling to sit on Inoo’s lap while still kissing.

Inoo wondered if he should care about the others who might be waiting for them, even though he had been the one to suggest staying, and decided he didn't care. He could feel Daiki's weight against him and Daiki settling on his lap, enough to make him not care about anything else. He slid one of his hands to the hem of Daiki's shirt, pushing it up just slightly with his fingertips, the other pulling Daiki closer as he deepened the kiss.

Daiki slid his hands from Inoo’s shoulders to behind the boy’s neck, wrapping his arms around the boy’s neck. He moved a little closer, pressing his chest against Inoo’s as he kissed Inoo deeper. They should probably go downstairs at least before the breakfast buffet would shut down, but there was still some time for that at least…

Inoo glanced from the corner of his eyes at the door, but decided it really didn't matter as he settled his hands on Daiki's hips. He touched the tip of his tongue against Daiki's lips and smirked when he felt Daiki let out a tiny moan, his lips parting almost automatically.

Daiki’s heartbeat was starting to pick up again, and he had a nice, a little dizzy feeling in his head. “Nn, you think the others are gonna be mad at us? Not coming downstairs when they told us to…” Daiki asked, breaking the kiss for a little while and tilting his head.

"We'll go eventually, so it won't matter too much," Inoo replied, trying to focus with Daiki, even though his mind was telling him to do many things in which worrying about whether the others would be mad wasn't included.

Daiki gave a cute smile at Inoo before pressing a very soft kiss on Inoo’s lips, and then another one, and a couple more after that. Before he could continue with those small kisses any longer, Inoo pulled him closer against him, locking their lips in a lot deeper, hot kiss. Daiki let out a small sigh in the kiss, wrapping his arms a tiny bit tighter around Inoo.

Inoo was starting to get impatient with Daiki's small kisses, so he ended up pulling the younger boy closer. It wasn't that he didn't like them, but he couldn't take too much of them without wanting to get a longer kiss out of Daiki, so he did just that, pulling the smaller boy close to kiss him deeper, and more importantly, longer.

Daiki complied with the kiss fully, leaning a little closer to Inoo again as the older boy was holding him from his waist tighter. What the boys were not paying attention to though, was that the chair both of them were now sitting on was very small, so when both of them leaned so far to one side, it soon started to fall, and in about a second both of them crashed down on the floor with the chair.

"Itai itai itai," Inoo mumbled in pain, closing his eyes as he shifted slightly. He and Daiki had slid off onto the floor when they fell, so now they were in a tangle of limbs. Inoo opened his eyes to look at Daiki, remembering the younger boy holding onto him. "Dai-chan, are you okay?"

Daiki blinked his eyes a few times, trying to clear his slightly spinning head. “I’m okay…” he said slowly, trying to figure out what exactly just happened. Daiki looked down at Inoo, realizing he had landed on Inoo. He pushed himself up slightly, although didn’t move from over Inoo. “I should be asking that, I fell on you after all!”

"I'm fine, just... my back..." Inoo replied, trying to move after Daiki had raised himself a little, but his back had hit the floor hard, made harder with Daiki's weight on him, so he didn't manage to move very much without feeling his back protest at the pain. He ignored the pain, deciding to not move, as he gave a slightly pained smile to Daiki. "I guess the chair couldn't handle both of us..."

“Eh, are you okay!?” Daiki asked, clearly more than a little worried when he noticed Inoo’s pained expression as he tried to get up. Maybe Inoo really had hurt himself, Daiki had fallen over him too after all… “If your back is hurting you shouldn’t try to move in case it’s something serious, should we get a doctor or…”

"Dai-chan," Inoo said firmly, deciding to get Daiki's full attention first before trying to move or anything like that. He needed time for his back to stop hurting before he got up anyway. He met Daiki's eyes and held their gaze for a long moment before smiling. "I'm alright. It's not the first time I've fell from a chair, so don't panic."

Daiki shifted away from over Inoo, sitting on his knees next to the boy, hovering over him. “Are you sure it’s okay?” Daiki still asked, worried. At least there had been nothing on the floor so Inoo hadn’t fallen on anything, but he had still received such a blow on his back it had hurt enough without it too.

"It's alright, really," Inoo said, trying again to raise himself. It hurt less this time, maybe because Daiki's weight wasn't on him, so Inoo managed to sit up, leaning his back against the bed. He winced as he moved his arms to pull himself up properly with his back against the bed. "Ah, ita~i..."

“I’m sorry…” Daiki said automatically, looking incredibly distressed as he watched Inoo being in pain. Sure, it hadn’t really been Daiki’s fault because Inoo was the one who had pulled him closer, but Daiki still felt like that himself. “Maybe we shouldn’t go skiing today if your back is hurting?”

"Eeeh, that'd ruin the whole point of coming! Don't worry, it'll get better," Inoo said, waving his hand and brushing away Daiki's worries. He smiled at the younger boy and tilted his head slightly. "Ne, don't be such a worrywart."

“I can’t help it if I worry…” Daiki said in a quiet voice, pouting his lips a little. He then crawled closer to Inoo, sitting next to the boy on his knees and leaned to press a kiss on Inoo’s lips. “I guess I can try kissing it better then…”

"I wouldn't mind that," Inoo replied softly as he reached up his arm and wrapped it around Daiki's shoulder, pulling the younger boy closer to him. He wanted Daiki to sit over him, but he was sure the younger boy would probably worry about how doing that would hurt Inoo's back, even though he was pretty sure it wouldn't.

Daiki pressed his palms against the floor, supporting his weight with those while he leaned closer to Inoo, their lips meeting in a kiss again. He didn’t know how much Inoo was hurting, but at least he was able to sit so that was probably good? “Feeling better..?” Daiki asked softly, moving a little away from the kiss.

"A lot better," Inoo murmured in reply, too absorbed in thinking about kissing Daiki to really pay attention to his back. He winced just a little as he leaned forward to lock their lips in another kiss, but he was telling the truth - they hadn't fell that hard, so his back would be okay.

“Don’t try moving if it’s hurting,” Daiki warned, leaning in a little bit in the kiss so that Inoo wouldn’t have to move towards him. “Mm, maybe you should lay down for a while if it’s hurting…”

Inoo wanted to protest, but it was really nice to have Daiki worrying over him, and if he laid down anyway, Daiki would have to stay with him, wouldn't he? Inoo leaned into the kiss but slowly broke it after a while, looking over to the bed. "Jaa, I'll lay down if you lay down with me."

Daiki gave a cute, little smile at Inoo. “Of course~” he said sweetly before pressing a soft kiss on Inoo’s lips. “Do you need help getting up? You should really watch you don’t hurt your back more…”

"I'm fine," Inoo answered to Daiki, pressing a quick kiss to Daiki's lips before moving his arm away from Daiki's shoulder to the bed behind him, doing the same with his other arm, and pulled himself up to sit on the edge of the bed before trying to stand up.

Daiki stood up himself, staying close to Inoo but not trying to help him since Inoo had said himself he didn’t need the help. But he still stayed close enough he could help if Inoo needed it. It didn’t seem like he’d need though, as Inoo managed to lay down on the bed on his back on his own, so Daiki climbed on the bed next to the boy. He leaned down, pressing his lips softly on Inoo’s. “Mm, should we eat our breakfast up here after all? If you’re not feeling like moving. I could go get food for both of us and bring it up?”

"I'd feel bad making you go downstairs by yourself..." Inoo said in protest, looking a little guilty. He didn't want Daiki to go by himself to get breakfast for them when he had been the careless one, but he knew they were both probably hungry and it'd be meaner to keep Daiki from getting himself some breakfast. He looked down, not meeting Daiki's eyes, while biting his lip slightly. If he could handle his back, he could probably go downstairs with Daiki. He nodded to himself and looked up at Daiki. "Let's go together, if you can handle me being slow..."

“But it’s no good putting stress on your back if it still hurts. Even if it only took a little hit, it’s still better to let it rest a little while, or otherwise you‘re in no condition to come skiing later. And I don’t mind, I can ask one of the guys to help me carry the trays up. Besides…” Daiki leaned down, sliding his right hand index and middle fingers slowly against Inoo’s shirt covered chest and pressing his lips in a little kiss against the corner of Inoo‘s mouth. “It’d be more fun to eat here…”

Inoo met Daiki's eyes for a long, silent moment before nodding with a smile, embarrassedly looking down so Daiki wouldn't pay too much attention to his face turning pink. Daiki was being so sweet that he didn't want to protest any longer... he also wanted to eat with just him and Daiki too, so he didn't mind the idea either.

Daiki smiled contently, moving on the bed so that he was now hovering over Inoo, his legs on both side of the boy’s waist - although he was making sure not to put any weight on Inoo - and leaned down to softly kiss Inoo on the lips. “Mm, what do you want for breakfast then?”

"Anything is fine as long as Dai-chan gets it for me," Inoo replied, not wanting Daiki to get too distracted from kissing him. He leaned up slightly, ignoring the pain, to press another kiss to Daiki's lips. It was true, he wasn't that picky of an eater, so anything Daiki got him would be alright.

Daiki giggled softly, leaning back down to kiss Inoo so that the other boy wouldn’t have to stress his back too much. “Jaa, I’ll go get the food then…” Daiki hummed, a little reluctantly breaking the kiss and getting up from the bed. “Ah, what do you want to drink? I think I’m getting both orange juice and hot chocolate… Does Inoo-chan want milk tea again?”

"Just orange juice is fine," Inoo replied, looking a little dejected at Daiki having to leave. He knew Daiki wouldn't take too long, since he knew Inoo was waiting, but it would be boring to wait by himself for the younger boy. He had to force himself to not pout, even though it was really tempting as he watched Daiki straighten out his shirt by tugging on it and glance towards the mirror to make sure his hair looked okay. "Ne... don't take long..."

“I won’t~” Daiki said in a singsong voice, coming back to the bed to press a small kiss on Inoo’s lips before heading to the door. “I’d think some of the guys have already finished so I can ask them to get the food with me.” Daiki gave a little wave at Inoo while opening the door, and disappeared to the hallway.

* * * * * * * * * *

"I wonder what's taking the couple so long," Fukka wondered out loud as he leaned slightly on Asaka, reaching out with his fork to take the last piece of syrup-soaked pancake from the other boy's plate and chew on it thoughtfully. He looked at Takaki and Hasshi across from him with an amused look. "I mean, if Takaki and Hasshi managed to finish making out before them, they must be really getting into it by now. Aaaah, if only someone would be that nice to me..."

"I told you to stop joking like that!" Kamei said as soon as he saw Fukka look at him again, smiling innocently, but his eyes sparkling teasingly. "I'm not going to make out with you!"

"But it's all because Ko-chan--" Fukka began, but the taller boy hastily cut him off, pointing at Daiki coming from the hallway into the main lobby. Asaka moved up slightly, not noticing Fukka's slightly miffed look as he looked from Daiki to Asaka, then back at Daiki as Asaka called him. "Isn't that Dai-chan? Dai-chan! Neee~ Dai-chan, over here~"

“Ah, you guys are still eating?” Daiki asked, smiling a little as he walked to the boys.

“Where did you leave Inoo-chan?” Takaki asked before Fukka would have the time to make any comments about how long Daiki and Inoo had been taking in their room even though they were supposed to come right after them.

“Mm, Inoo-chan fell on the chair and hurt his back… It’s nothing serious, but he got a bad enough hit so he should try taking it easy for a little while at least,” Daiki explained. Actually Daiki was probably worrying over Inoo’s back more than the boy himself was, but he didn’t want to make it a big deal in front of the others. “So I thought I’d bring both of our breakfast upstairs so that Inoo can just stay still for a while. I was thinking that if any of you had already finished eating you could help me carry the trays…”

"Oh, I can help, since Fukka just ate my last piece of pancake," Asaka said, looking down at his plate before raising his hand and smiling up at Daiki. He didn't mind staying with the others, but it was still so confusing to be with Fukka that he liked the idea of going with Daiki and getting a chance to try and think about Fukka without the other boy being there. But as he moved to stand up, he caught sight of Fukka's sulky expression and blinked as Fukka looked up at Asaka, frowning a little. "I'll go help Dai-chan!"

"Eh? But... you're not done eating," Asaka pointed out, glancing at Fukka's plate, which still had half a waffle and a couple of small sandwiches on it. He looked down at his own plate, leaning down to pick it up, then looking back at Fukka. "And I'm done, so I can go with him, right? Jaa, Dai-chan, let's go~"

“Thanks, Asaka,” Daiki said, flashing a cute smile at the younger boy as Asaka walked up to him. “Carrying the trays back upstairs myself would be too difficult…” Daiki took a hold of Asaka’s hand, waving at the others as he and Asaka headed towards the dining room.

"Ne, Dai-chan..." Asaka said, smiling at the older boy a little hesitantly as they walked to the dining room. He looked over his shoulder at Fukka, who was saying something to Takaki while laughing, then back at Daiki. "Ah... never mind. Did Inoo-chan fall that bad?"

“Hm, at least he says himself it’s nothing bad,” Daiki said, letting go of Asaka’s hand when they reached the dining room and went to get trays for the food. “But it’s still hurting for sure though. The chair tilted right on its back so he got quite a hit from it.” Daiki decided to leave out the fact that he had actually fallen on Inoo, as that was only a meaningless detail that would receive some unnecessary questions…

"As long as he's laying down, he'll get better," Asaka said, taking a plate, spoon and fork to place on the tray as he followed behind Daiki. He blinked a few times as he thought about it, following what Daiki was putting for himself to put for Inoo. "How did he end up falling anyway? Inoo-chan usually isn't that careless... to manage to make himself fall from the chair like that."

Daiki bit his lower lip slightly, pondering what to say. He didn’t want to say he had been kissing with Inoo! “Ah, actually, we were both sitting in the same chair…” Daiki said a bit evadingly. “And since we were leaning too much to the same direction the chair couldn’t take it…”

"Eh? If your room's chairs are like ours, then it's impossible for the two of you to sit beside each other on one," Asaka said in surprise, picking up an extra waffle for Inoo distractedly while he was looking at Daiki. "How could you two have been sitting in a way that the chair could fit both of you?"

Daiki directed a small glare at Asaka’s direction. Did he have to keep asking things like that all the time? “Nn, that’s just why it fell… Because it can only fit one person. So when we were both sitting on it, it fell.” Daiki wasn’t really answering to Asaka’s question, but he kind of hoped Asaka wouldn’t notice.

"You two should be careful, it's obvious how small the chair is," Asaka said in a slightly scolding tone, like a mother lecturing her young children. He shook his head as he decided on the sandwiches he was taking for Inoo. "Really... ah, does Inoo-chan like this one or that one?"

Daiki almost sighed in relief when Asaka seemed to drop the subject. “Ah, those ones,” he said, pointing the small sandwiches on the left side. Daiki was already taking his tray to the drinks table, putting it down while he took a couple glasses for the juice and one mug for his hot chocolate. “Ne, did you guys fall asleep early last night?” Daiki asked, deciding to make sure the subject stayed away from Inoo’s incident. “Fukka waking up so early is weird after all! Or did you wake him?”

"E-eh!?" Asaka asked, flustered. He didn't know how to answer, even if Daiki didn't know about Fukka kissing him. He avoided Daiki's eyes as he reached out to take the glasses for the juice. "Ah... well... sometimes he wakes up by himself... and he did that today... ah, which juice did Inoo-chan want? And which one do you want? I can get them while you get your hot chocolate."

“Ah, we both take the orange juice, thanks,” Daiki said, eyeing Asaka a bit curious. What was the boy suddenly blushing for..? Daiki didn’t ask though, in case it was something Asaka didn’t want to talk about. Daiki picked a few marshmallows to put in his hot chocolate, and a few more to the plate where he had a piece of the chocolate cake - he hadn’t been able to resist the temptation to take it again.

"Eh, are you taking chocolate cake again? Only you and Hasshi would take something so sweet for breakfast," Asaka said amusedly, putting down the glasses of orange juice on their trays. He reached out to take a marshmallow from the jar and put it in his mouth, shaking his head slightly. "It'll make you sick, you know."

“I like sweet things, even more than Hasshi,” Daiki said with a cute smile, taking one more marshmallow himself too and putting it into his mouth. “And don’t you get all Inoo-chan on me, I’m eating other food too so it’s okay.”

"Eh, so worrying about you getting sick means I'm going all Inoo-chan on you, does it," Asaka said, laughing as he raised the tray and turned to leave. "I'm getting Inoo-chan's food for him, so I'm kinda turning into him because of that~"

Daiki stuck his tongue out at Asaka. “It’s just because Inoo-chan kept nagging me yesterday when I wanted to eat chocolate cake, saying I’d become sick.” Daiki picked up his tray also, heading out of the dining room after Asaka.

"He's just saying the truth, you know," Asaka said teasingly, laughing when he saw Daiki pout when he looked over his shoulder. He went towards the stairs, slowing down to let Daiki come beside him. "Is Inoo-chan planning on going skiing today? He shouldn't if his back's not alright."

“We were thinking of going to ski first, and then go look around the shops…” Daiki said a bit thoughtful. “So as long as his back is okay we’ll be going. Inoo-chan said it wasn’t bad so we’ll see how it feels after the breakfast.”

"He should be careful if it still hurts. It's still pretty early so he can go out skiing later, right now he should probably rest," Asaka said worriedly, looking down at the tray before looking up as they began walking down the corridor towards Inoo and Daiki's room.

“Don’t worry, I’m not planning on letting him out of the room unless I’m sure he’s okay,” Daiki said in a soft laughter as he leaned to unlock the door to their room. “That’s why I suggested eating breakfast upstairs in the first place.

"That was a good idea, na~" Asaka said, laughing as he stepped in behind Daiki. He made sure he was holding the tray properly as he followed Daiki inside the room after closing the door behind him, smiling brightly at Inoo as the older boy looked up from playing with his cellphone to the pair who had just come on. "Good morning, Inoo-chan~ is your back any better?"

“Asaka helped me getting the breakfast,” Daiki said, giving a little smile at Asaka as both of them went to take the trays on the table.

Inoo narrowed his eyes suspiciously as Asaka placed the tray on the table and smiled at Daiki, letting out a little laugh as he pointed at the chocolate cake on Daiki's plate. Asaka looked over at Inoo, not noticing the older boy's wariness. "Ne, Inoo-chan, Dai-chan took chocolate cake again! He's going to get sick, isn't he~"

"He can have chocolate cake if he wants," Inoo said pointedly, shifting to turn his legs to the edge of the bed. Weren't any of the others done? Why had it been Asaka to come along?!

“Oi, you were the one who told me yesterday I shouldn’t be eating cake all the time,” Daiki commented, making a face at Inoo. “I just said downstairs how Asaka was sounding like you when teasing me about the cake,” Daiki said in a little laugh, taking one of the marshmallows from the side of his plate, chewing it slowly.

"If you don't have too much, it's okay, isn't it?" Inoo tried to reason, pouting slightly as he pushed himself off the bed to stand up. He walked as slowly as he could, trying to keep his back from hurting him, until he reached the chair, which Asaka immediately pulled back for him. He looked up at Asaka warily before sitting down, pretending to 'casually' look at the food instead of thanking Asaka.

“Shouldn’t you stay on the bed rather than sit up?” Daiki asked in a bit mothering voice, flicking Inoo slightly on the forehead. He hadn’t missed that Inoo had been walking there overly careful. “I could have brought your tray on the bed too.” Daiki then turned to look up at Asaka. “Thanks for helping with the trays~”

"Itai," Inoo whined, raising his hand to his forehead. He wouldn't have minded the tray in the bed, but not with Asaka there, it would've been a bit embarrassing. He looked over at the younger boy who was sitting on the edge of Daiki's bed, as it was closest to the table, with a small smile. It was true that Asaka had been nice enough to help take up his tray, so he could at least thank him before hinting for him to leave. "Thanks, Asaka."

"It's okay. Just watch your back!" Asaka said, smiling back brightly. He pushed himself off the bed and nodded at the two before pointing at the door. "Fukka looked like he was whining when I left, so I'm going to go drag him to go do something fun that isn't whining. I'll see you guys later?"

“Bye~” Daiki said, waving his hand a little to Asaka as the boy disappeared through the door. He then turned to look at Inoo, with a little pout on his lips. “Mou, is your back hurting worse or what were you being mean to Asaka for..? You totally teased me about the chocolate cake yesterday.”

"Maa, though, that was yesterday so it's okay to take some today," Inoo answered a little childishly, taking hold of his glass of juice with both his hands to take a sip and hide his pout behind it. Even if he had been a little mean, it was just because Asaka was being too close to Daiki...

“Hnn, you’re not making any sense…” Daiki said, rolling his eyes a little. “Ne, but Inoo-chan, are you sure you don’t wanna eat on the bed. I can put all the pillows behind your back so you could be in a sitting position but it’d still be easier on your back?”

"No, it doesn't hurt that bad, I just have to be careful with it," Inoo answered, smiling at Daiki. What he was telling Daiki was true; it wasn't the first time he'd fell hard enough to hurt his back, so it wouldn't take long before it'd be okay. But getting kinda spoiled by Daiki wasn't that bad either... Inoo glanced at the bed before looking back at Daiki as he reached out to pick up a sandwich. "Let's eat. Itadakimasu!"

Daiki smiled cutely when Inoo put the sandwich into his mouth, and leaned close to Inoo, biting from Inoo’s sandwich so close to the boy’s mouth Daiki’s lips touched slightly against the corner of Inoo’s mouth. He then smirked a little when he saw Inoo freeze halfway his eating. Daiki took a few steps back, placing his hands on the edge of the table and bounced to sit on it, next to his own tray.

Inoo held the sandwich at his mouth, but didn't move as he slowly raised his eyes to meet Daiki's. What had just happened? Daiki being like that made it really hard to not blush, even if he liked it! Inoo quickly looked down and stuffed the rest of the sandwich in his mouth, but only ended up blushing more as he remembered the part of the sandwich Daiki had bitten from was now in his mouth.

“Don’t eat so fast or you might choke!” Daiki warned, though laughing lightly at Inoo’s expression. Daiki was holding one of his own little sandwiches with both hands, taking small bites from it.

"It's too small to make me choke," Inoo said with his mouth full, reaching out to take his juice without looking at Daiki. He took a big gulp of the juice, trying to not make it seem too obvious he was drinking it to help wash down the sandwich in his mouth. If he admitted he could choke, it'd just make Daiki laugh at him more...

Daiki still laughed. He then glanced down on the piece of cake on his plate as he picked up another small sandwich from his plate. “Ah, we didn’t take any cake for you, since you said you don’t want to eat something like cakes, for breakfast at least. But I can share mine again if you want~”

Inoo looked up at Daiki slowly, then down to the cake, then back up at Daiki before nodding. He was still holding his glass of juice, trying to cover up as much of his face as he could, but it was pretty obvious how red his face was getting anyway.

“We can eat it on the bed as a dessert then,” Daiki said with a little smile. Even though Inoo was trying to hide it, he could tell Inoo was blushing. Daiki picked up his cup of hot chocolate from the tray, taking a few sips from it. It had had the time to cool down just enough so that it was the perfect temperature.

"Nn, that sounds good," Inoo murmured from behind his glass of juice before he put it down and quickly focused his attention on cutting a small piece of pancake. He paused and looked up at Daiki, who was sipping his hot chocolate with his eyes closed and looking very content, then looked back down at the pancake with a smile. Daiki was really cute when he was being that happy over just hot chocolate...

“What are you smiling about..?” Daiki asked in a suspicious voice, opening only one eye to look at Inoo. For some reason he could tell that Inoo was smiling even though he had had his eyes closed.

"I'm not smiling," Inoo answered as he looked up at Daiki with as blank an expression as he could manage, deciding to pretend he hadn't smiled because of how cute Daiki looked. He tilted his head as he saw Daiki looking at him with one eye open, then looked down at his plate to pick up a sandwich and try to stop himself from laughing.

“You were~” Daiki said in a little singsong voice, opening both of his eyes now as he leaned to pick the plate with two pieces of waffle on it, starting to eat those, leaving the plate with the chocolate cake and the few marshmallows next to it on the tray for them to eat together.

"Because Dai-chan was looking so cute~" Inoo said softly, testing whether Daiki would hear him or not. He was pretty sure Daiki would, but he mostly wanted to see if he could tease Daiki and embarrass him like he had made Inoo.

Daiki glanced up at Inoo, blinking once before turning his eyes away. Damn it! Now he was the one blushing! Daiki concentrated onto his plate of waffles and pretended he hadn’t reacted to Inoo saying he was looking cute in any way.

"Neee, aren't you blushing now?" Inoo teased, enjoying the change in control. He had been embarrassed and blushing because of Daiki, but now Daiki was embarrassed and blushing because of him, and he definitely liked making Daiki blush more than the other way around. "Cu~te~"

“I’m not blushing…” Daiki insisted, but in a very small voice. “Mou, fine, but I’m only blushing because Inoo-chan keeps blushing all the time so then it’s less embarrassing for you!” The lamest excuse in the world, but Daiki really couldn’t come up with anything better right then.

"That's one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard in my life," Inoo answered back, even though he was fighting a blush himself. What if it was true? He couldn't be blushing that much, could he!?

Daiki quickly stuck his tongue out at Inoo before taking the last bits of his waffle into his mouth. Daiki had finished everything else he had taken except the chocolate cake, which was still completely untouched on his tray. So Daiki took a sip from his orange juice, and drank the last bits of his hot chocolate before he jumped down from the table. He reached to take the plate with the chocolate cake onto his hand, and walked to the bed, giving a cute smile at Inoo as he passed him. Daiki put the chocolate cake on the bed and laid down on the bed on his stomach himself. “If you don’t eat fast I’m gonna eat the whole piece myself~” Daiki threatened, dipping his finger in the whipped cream next to the cake and lifting the finger to his lips, slowly licking it off.

"Eh--" Inoo began, but his trail of thought and whatever he was going to say disappeared as he moved his eyes from his plate to Daiki licking the whipped cream off his finger. Did Daiki know what he was doing!? Inoo immediately looked back to his plate, trying to stuff as much of the remaining food in his mouth as he could instead of staring at Daiki.

Even though Daiki had said he’d share the chocolate cake with Inoo, he could still start before the older boy, right? That what was Daiki decided as he picked up the small fork from the side of the plate, taking a small bite from the cake. Inoo wouldn’t eat it as much as he did anyway…

Inoo almost let out a whining sound when he noticed Daiki was already eating without him. He didn't like chocolate cake as much as Daiki, but the younger boy had said they would share! He stuffed a piece of pancake in his mouth, chewing as he pouted at the food left on his plate. There was still the rest of the pancake and another small sandwich, so he could finish them quickly if he wanted, but he didn't want to stuff himself too fast and end up not being able to share the cake anyway, whether he wanted to or not.

“I’m not gonna eat it by myself so don’t pout~” Daiki said with a little teasing voice. He had already put the fork down, and was leaning his chin against his arms. “I only tasted it, I’m not gonna eat without you.”

"Mm, you looked like you were going to," Inoo mumbled, his pout still there as he took the last piece of food - the small sandwich - left on the plate and took a small bite out of it. He glanced at Daiki for a few seconds, still pouting, before taking another bite of the sandwich.

“If you’re gonna continue pouting like that, maybe I’ll just eat it myself~” Daiki said in a singsong voice. The boy picked up one of the marshmallows from the plate, dipping it to the whipped cream and putting it into his mouth before directing a flirty smile towards Inoo.

"Eh, would you be that mean?" Inoo asked as he swallowed the last of his sandwich and took a long sip of the orange juice before pushing his chair back carefully, trying to keep his back straight so he wouldn't hurt it. He stood up and moved over to the bed, slowly sitting down beside Daiki and reaching out to grab a marshmallow. But instead of raising it to his own mouth, Inoo smiled and raised it in front of Daiki's instead.

Daiki gave a cute smile to Inoo before opening his mouth so that Inoo could put the marshmallow in. While chewing on it, Daiki raised the fork again to took a piece of the chocolate cake on, raising it to Inoo’s mouth. “Hai~”

Inoo opened his mouth as well, leaning slightly forward to take the cake into his mouth. He leaned back when he had it in his mouth, chewing on it very contently. Sitting lazily like this and just enjoying eating the sweet chocolate cake with Daiki was more than enough to make the vacation perfect.

“Ne~~ Lay down,” Daiki said, pouting his lips slightly as he propped his face up with one arm, holding the fork on the other. “You shouldn’t be sitting like that with your back crouched, it won’t do good on your back.”

"But that's not really a proper way to eat..." Inoo said in soft protest, even though he was already leaning back and pulling as many pillows as he could towards him to prop up his back. Daiki was right, it was really uncomfortable and a little painful to sit like that, but at least leaning back would be better.

“I’m eating just fine like this,” Daiki insisted. He was laying on the bed on his stomach after all, holding his head up with one hand as he was holding the fork with the other, his feet lazily kicking the air above him. Daiki took a piece of the chocolate cake with the fork, directing it into his own mouth this time.

"You know that's probably bad for you too," Inoo lectured lightly, a smile on his face as he reached out his hand to hit Daiki's ankles against each other lightly. "Ne, I want some too! Don't eat it all yourself..."

Daiki giggled softly before taking a piece of the chocolate cake and dipping it into the whipped cream, then bringing it to Inoo’s lips. “Do you think you’re gonna be able to go skiing today?” Daiki asked while the two boys continued eating the chocolate cake together.

"My back's a lot better, so I think I can manage to go skiing later today... let's go around the shops first? It'll probably help if I walk around a little instead of skiing right away," Inoo contemplated as he chewed on the chocolate cake slowly, turning his head to look at the window. The weather looked so perfect that he didn't really think it mattered whether they went skiing now or later.

Daiki took the last piece of the chocolate cake from the plate into his mouth before he put the fork down onto the plate and rolled on the bed on his back so that he could look at Inoo easier. “Hn, should I massage your back?” he suggested playfully, stretching his arms over his head.

"E-Eh!?" Inoo exclaimed, turning his face away as he pushed himself up to lean against the pillows even more. He could tell Daiki was just being playful, but the suggestion wasn't that bad... in fact, he wouldn't really mind...

“What, Inoo-chan doesn’t want to?” Daiki asked, pouting his lips slightly. He relaxed more on the bed, turning his face up towards the ceiling rather than Inoo. “Fine, I won’t then…”

"I didn't say that!" Inoo whined, trying to lean over but wincing again from his back. He ignored it as he reached out to pinch Daiki's cheek and pout. "Nee, I can't lean over to kiss you as easily, so come closer and let me do that. And that massage sounds pretty good too..."

Daiki gave a little smirk at Inoo before pushing himself up and sitting on his knees close to Inoo. He pressed his palms against the bed to support himself as he leaned forward to press a soft kiss on Inoo’s lips. “Don’t try moving too much, or your back is only gonna get worse…”

"Mm, I don't have to move if you're the one moving," Inoo said, raising up his arms to pull Daiki over him, making their lips meet in another kiss. It could be a good thing he had hurt his back, even if it meant they didn't go skiing...

TO BE CONTINUED...

He he, lotsa making out in this one... Takaki is quite forward about him and Hasshi now (while Kamei is about to kiss someone) and Fukka is surprisingly forward too! XDDDD Most of it is Inoo and Daiki of course~ Arara? Inoo being a little jealous of Asaka..? XD And no worries, Inoo didn't hurt himself too bad. Maybe Daiki massaging him will help~

I'm leaving to Japan on Tueday and will be away for 3 weeks, so it's gonna be a while before another update, I'm sorry!! XD; ...Or not really, because I'm gonna go see these boys live in Summary but... XDDD Wait patiently!! Kyan is not home either, and will not be for like 3 months so I have no idea how we can manage to write... But you'll be definitely getting at least SOME update around the halfway of August XD In the meanwhile, wish me a great trip to Japan!
