FINALLY after almost a week it is up and running.
i had to drill a hole in the floor and run new wire up, string it across the basement and hook a new breaker into the breaker box
except the breaker we got was not the right one, so i unhooked the the filter wire as we will not be using it until spring and will have time to replace that one :)

so i got it all hooked up and the damn outlet switch was acting up, it was positional, and the damn screws are stripped from taking it off so much. so i had to use a wrench to turn them most of the way. i played with the wires but i am not sure what the problem is. it is working now, and is still open as we need to get a face plate
but
yeah! it all works.

PHEW. i am exhausted.
this has been a nightmare of an experience. but now i know how to do it in the future if the need shall arise.
