And finally, a RULES AND FAQ post! My apologies for the lack of updates, I was focused on finishing my icon challenges. xD;; There will be more pretties to fill this space soon, but for now, a few things you may have been wondering about that will be answered!

1) What is Liaison Graphics?
Simply put, THIS JOURNAL! :) It was once a personal LJ, but after some drama that I will not get into, this account was converted into a graphics LJ. ^_^

2) Who owns and updates Liaison Graphics?
*waves* That's me, Maia. ^^ I was born in 1984 (in case you're also wondering how old I am XD) and I've always aspired to be an artist. This journal serves as an extension of my interests in graphics and art and coding and showcases my on-again, off-again relationship with Photoshop. XD

3) What happened to the other posts here?
The previous, more personal posts have all been privately locked to avoid clutter, though they will be soon deleted once I actually find some time to do so. :P

4) Can I friend this journal?
Most definitely, yes. :) I am only too happy to share the stuff I've made with everybody, and if you want more updates, I suggest that you friend this journal to keep better tabs on graphics.

5) I've friended you, but why haven't you friended me back?
Because this isn't a personal LJ. ^^;; As it serves as my graphics dump, I don't see why I should friend you, especially if the LJ you used to friend me is a personal one. If you DO want to friend me because you want to get to know me better and not just as the girl among many others here who churn out pretty graphics, then head on over to my personal LJ for that. ;P

6) I have a graphics LJ/comm, can I affiliate?

7) What can I expect to see here?
/>Lots of icons! I love making icons and though my updates are not as consistent as others, I make up for it by making huge icon dumps. XDD I'm also trying my hand at layouts, wallpapers, headers, FO banners and profile banners. What I have yet to really sit down and do are mood themes. ^^;

8) Do you take requests?
I will whenever I feel like taking requests. It will depend solely on how much time I can spend with Photoshop open and what exactly you request of me. Just keep an eye out for request posts!

9) Have you ever joined icontests?
At this time, no. And I probably never will. Icon challenges are fine, but I don't really like the idea of my icons being voted on. I make them because I want to share them, not because I'm out to prove that I'm good or anything. Heck, if I'm not satisfied with half of the stuff I post, why would I expect it to meet a jury's expectations?

10) What will you not allow on this LJ?
I will not allow stealing of graphics. Neither will I allow hotlinking because I am poor. As much as possible, save the images on your own server. Do NOT steal anything because I work hard on the coloring, the cropping and the hunting down for good images so it would be in bad form if people stole my graphics and claimed them as their own elsewhere. I once got plagiarized in terms of fic and someone also had the audacity to plagiarize my own blog entries. I really would rather that NOT happen again. ^^;;
