Okay, horrified time! I just finished a lovely fic by Howlcastle, called "<a href="http://www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=13776&chapter=1> The Certainty of Chance</a>", I and I guess I was spoiled for the marathon read, 'cos I just went to the "Most Recent" page on Whofic, and I saw two stories, innocently not badly summarized, but by the same author. Why the warning lights didn't go off then, I'm not sure. So, we have a magical story about the Daleks in a
movie theater (Ow, pain. NEED REAL FIC NOW!), and one about a space flu. The titles should have told me something. Really, they should have. They were wretched, and long, and I think capitalization was b0rk'd.
Actually, the summaries were pretty bad too. Oh, need some good fic now. Or maybe I can go just watch Nine. Or something. "Song for Ten" also has therapeutic properties. And so does the good fic that I'd cued up to read after those. <a href="http://www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=14951"> The Last Act of the Time War</a> was beautiful. It was. *sniff* So... yeah.
Random update time: my fanfics are on hiatus - they're on the laptop that another familial unit has absconded from. Not that I think anyone really cares about them anyway. Maybe I'll get back around to Doctor!Cats.
Also, I have the irrational craving for a shirt, along the lines of the Browncoats: "
Joss Whedon is my master now." I have my own version that I desperately want to see, and lemme tell you - it's not written in the Star Wars font like that one is. "John Simm is my Master now." I'm going to get around to making a macro of that.
Just thought I'd give you a heads up. He's also the reason I bought "I Can't Decide" from the
iTunes music store. It now lives on my Doctor Who playlist. (Er, so do a couple of random
Monty Python songs, the Doctor Who Soundtrack, Doctor Who remixes, "Tainted Love", and "Doctorin' the TARDIS." I'm trying to justify putting "White and Nerdy" on there, but... haha.
And, HonorH, sorry. I just had to steal the tag.
