I hate writing about myself. :| Why, why am I so stumped on the "Introduce yourself :D" paper? There is nothing about me I want to freely divulge to you as my teacher. Please stop asking v_v

So, while I'm procrastinating, some reviews?

Clone Wars was not terrible? Okay, it was pretty bad, but I wasn't expecting much and the opportunity to geek out with grinningrobot about Star Wars again was so totally worth it. We made that movie so much funnier than it was XD The CG never really stopped bothering me, but I got used to it? The animation was really nothing special, which makes me worried for how much it will decline by the time it gets to the TV series. There were some seriously cute moments, especially regarding droids. Ahsoka wasn't as bad as she could have been. I think the faults of her character were more the problem of the writing in general, in that everyone sounded like a sarcastic jerk, but because she was the only one that wasn't established in previous canon, that was all we have to go by for her personality. It was just way too sarcastic, for everyone. There were quips and talking back where there could have been no dialogue and it would have been fine. I think cutting out 30% of the dialogue would have been a great improvement. Fangirling note: my OTP are so gay for each other and raising their love child, and I'm glad the theatre was empty so no one else saw me squeal and blush at scenes that were totally not meant to be construed that way.

And holy crap, Soul Eater ep 21! o_o I knew there was a reason I kept watching this show. This part was actually good in the manga, and the anime made it even better. And by better, I mean oh god baby abused Chrona so sad yet so adorable ;_; Whoever boarded out Maka's crazy scene should get a medal. And the special ending animation! It was just two walk cycles, and yet possibly the most touching ending sequence I've ever seen.

The other day, the f-list kept mentioning some manga about Vikings. Uhh, turns out Vinland Saga is pretty much the most epic thing ever? I-I want to flail about the monomythic story structure, and anti-father figures, and character reversals, but I am too caught up in the lastest development and with all the twists lately, really anything could happen. Also, I'm entirely in love with the art style, and character development, and there will probably be really terrible attempts at fanart in the future.

Is House of Leaves any good? I was initially so put off by the oh so artistic typesetting that I didn't even stay long enough to hear what it's about, but then xkcd had to go and make a wicked parody of it so now I'm curious. The rss comments seemed to either love it or hate it, so I really don't know!
