A few weeks ago, I was told by one of our neighbors about the Volunteer Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary. So I asked another neighbor who is the president about it. She told me about all the types of fund raisers they did for the Volunteer Fire Department. Well I thought this would be an excellent way to meet my new neighbors and become a part of the community. She told me that I had to be voted in and I was. Tonight was my first meeting and I'm very excited about doing this. The ladies are all so very nice and I really had a great time. This month they are having a rummage sale. Though I probably won't be able to work the sale itself, I do have a lot of things that I can donate.
