Facebook has decided my NaNo journal is adult content too. I'm a naughty bad Kim wherever I go evidently.

I woke up this morning at 4am. Why would I, someone usually so full of common sense, wake up at that ungodly hour? The power company decided to do some - I have no idea what they were doing, but they shut down the electricity to my neighborhood and the next town over. I'm not sure why it is that I wake up when the power goes off. The only sound in the entire house was the kitchen clock (battery powered) ticking on the wall. Well, and Zoe being a cat. Her new favorite thing is jumping behind the drier and then crying until someone comes to get her out.

My electric bill went from $120 to $84 when the video games went up to dad's for the school year. Turning the AC off might have had something to do with the drop, but I like to say it's the video games to justify being the mean mommy and saying they can't come back until June.

I'm doing my very best to post daily in case you haven't noticed. For November I'm double posting - once here and once in the NaNo Journal every day. It's hard not to post life over there and NaNo over here. Since I can't get anything done if I'm not stressed, I've imposed these additional tasks to keep me motivated. Stress is the jelly on the peanut butter sandwich of life.
