Now that the new KatGirl Studio site is completed I’ve been doing other things like designing post cards, biz cards and compiling the rest of my client contact list. I emailed editor/art directors and the children’s book companies that accepted email submissions and one send me a message back saying you wished me well and would keep me in mind for her future projects. Aside from that I story boarded my mini promo book for the SCBWI Conference next month. It’s a little 8 page wordless story about a margay (my character Xcaret) hunting a nearby Quetzal entitled >Stalking the Illusive Quetzal. Here’s the front cover sketch for the book.
