Evidently I live in the southwest now.
I'm here for a couple of reasons this evening:
1. Go check out ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) smutastic_awards. It's a freakin' awesome community featuring some of the hottest, steamist, sexiest smut in all the HP fandom. Well, not quite yet, but it will soon. It's just getting started, but totally worth checking out and joining so you don't miss out. And the layout is...*fans self*...wow. ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) wildflower4evr is a layout genius. Just, check it out, alright?
2. I don't know if I mentioned this already, but Trouble was nominated (thank you inadaze22) for the Best Song Fic over at the Quibbler Awards. You should definitely check that out. Voting starts tomorrow (August 26th)! Do it, you know you want to. LoL.
3. The first weeks prompts were dished out this past Saturday for this round at dramione_ldws. I've finished mine and submitted it. SQUEE! I can't tell you how excited I am! Hehe. Anyway, the prompt this time around was that it had to have something to do with a library. I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished, and even if I don't make it through, I'm just happy I did it. But, seriously, you should all check it out. Voting starts Thursday (August 28th)! And a big good luck to my friends inadaze22 and dynonugget. We're so taking over the drabble world, friends!
4. Non-HP related news...my sister, over our stay-cation in July, bought all the Twilight series books. Now, she dashed through them in like two weeks, but I took my time and just started them a couple of weeks ago. Well, I can see where her obsession comes from. They are really good. Now, I know I've heard from a few of you that you didn't like the final book, but I have to say that I hope it's good. I'm praying that I don't hate it because I really want it to end well. I'll be fairly upset if it doesn't. LoL. Anyway, I'm about halfway through Eclipse (the third book) right now...and it just keeps getting better and better. SQUEE! A new obsession...like I need one of those. LoL.
5. The fanvid trailer I'm working on for inadaze22's Broken is coming along nicely, for those of you who are wondering. I have about 20-30 more seconds I need to add to it and I'm currently waiting on a movie to get it finished. My brother's fiance, Sara, is supposed to be getting the movie to me tomorrow, so once I get it...we'll be good to go. I originally told inadaze22 that I would have it done by the end of this past weekend, but no go - it was a fairly busy weekend. But, now, I'm thinking that I should have it easily finished before the end of this coming weekend. So, yeah, keep your radar scanning for that.
6. There is only like one week left to claim/submit a prompt over at tnl_first_time. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should. It's a really great community where you can submit a prompt for a story you'd like and/or take a prompt on as your own and write something new...a new 'ship, a new story length, a new genre, you name it. There are plenty of prompts available right now...so grab 'em!
Okay, I think I'm done now. If I come up with anything else, I'll let you know.

7. I'm working on chapter five of Revenge. Hopefully, if all goes well, you'll have a sneak peek by the end of the week on that, too. :)
