So, good news first: my school has this lovely little thing known as a "Headmistress Holiday". This is one day in January or February where we have no school. It's announced the day before it happens, so it's a lovely little surprise.

/>So, guess what we had today~ God, I didn't have to do anything. I got to stay up last night and finish my book, and sleep until 10:30 this morning, and they had a brunch, with doughnuts, and I got to screw around on Neutral's games with lirael_evensong, and we went to get burgers, and...yeah. It was awesome. I think all of the major school officials should have a holiday like this for us~

(Though, they really ought to warn the coffee place [which is also the supplier of hamburgers] when they let us out of school early. Because half the damn school signs out to go there, because that's really the only decent place we can go within walking distance. And it is a small coffee place. They do not have the staff to deal with half the school showing up. So there was a lot of waiting and people getting pissed off due to the waiting.)

But, the real bad news is because it's the week before exams. That means the teachers are all trying to shove as many grades as possible in before the trimester ends. Which means: I have an anatomy test tomorrow, a calculus test on Thursday, an English paper due on Thursday, an anatomy lab due on Friday, and the anatomy trimester oral project due on Friday. I don't have time for all of that. Even if I'd worked on it today instead of sleeping I wouldn't've had time for it. (I. NEED. MY. SLEEP.) As it is, I'll be doing a fair amount of actual work during study hall tonight.

And then, y'know, exams are next week. ARRRRGH.

Right, anyway. It's possible my anatomy presentation might not be due until Monday (there's no way we can do all of them on Friday), but I won't know that until at least tomorrow, so I have to at least work on it some. And I might be able to plead with my English teacher about the paper, given that she already changed the due date for K because she's about as swamped as I am, so. That'd help if I could do that.

On the good side again, I reiterate that I'm going home. For a month.

And. The Belial-muse lives. Speech patterns need fine-tuning, but I have the personality, I think. YAY.

...and I refuse to be useful until the proxy turns on at 7, so I'm going to go play on RP and read my book now.
