I did something last night that I never thought I would. I made a custom t-shirt. Okay, so I didn't make the mesh (Maxis did), but I did put an image on it. It's not the greatest, but I'm proud of it. It was my first time, after all, it's not going to be perfect. It's a Doctor Who shirt for adult females. I may put it on the Exchange along with my simself, who I made it for, but I'm not sure yet. I'm a little iffy about sharing my simself, but I'll let her model my little creation.

Is it just me, or do my pictures look funny? And not ha-ha funny, either.
Also, I know the TARDIS looks lumpy. Like I said, first time and all.
Oh, that skintone she has? It's the first ever default skin replacement that I've found that I actually like! It's a blend of the Compulsion, Louis, and Realsim skins and it's on Selzisims (the link is directly to the skins I'm using now. I don't use the first one skintone, though - way too pale for me).
So, if anyone who is reading this would like to give me any pointers on making CC clothing, please do so (just re-coloring though. Making meshes seems too messy for me). I want to learn and get better at it. Onto the story plans part. I'm not going to say much yet, but I do have two stories in mind that I very much want to do and have been working on little by little. One is (as usual) a legacy. It's unpublished so far and I've talked about it before. I absolutely adore that family and I'm anxious to share them, but I want to get further ahead before I do. The eldest of Generation Three are teenagers, with the younger two following close behind. I want to get to at least the fifth generation before I share anything - probably even further ahead than that. I've been writing it already, too, and it's got a decent plotline developing, which I am very proud of. It feels a lot more natural than what happened in As the Plumbbob Twirls. So, I will share them eventually, unless I get bored of them. Hopefully, I won't.
The other story I've been thinking about would follow an entire Maxis-made neighborhood, but mostly focus on three of the families. Pleasantview, is the neighborhood. I've thought about this before, but didn't know if I should write it or not, because I was worried it would overtake As the Plumbbob Twirls (as in I wouldn't want to write it anymore, which happened anyway, so.. and also I was worried that no one would read it, because I'm so damn pessimistic. Not like it would really matter anyway. I would still write it even if people hated it. I might feel down and rant to my best friend (who is such a sweetheart for putting up with me) about it, but I think I would still write it. I also want to get a good head start on it before putting it anywhere. More than likely, that one will be on here (more creative freedom, you know) and the legacy will on the Exchange.Some Major WTFery happened while I was at my simself's house in A Place Called Legacy. See for yourself:
First, I heard the desk chair slide out and it scared the crap out of me, because my simself is the only one who lives there and she was no where near it. I peeked into her bedroom to see if maybe she had someone over and I had just forgotten about it, but no one was there! I watched as the door on the front of the computer popped open and the disktray slid out. My eyes, as wide as saucers, could not believe what they were seeing. "How is this possible?" I asked myself. Quickly, I paused the game and snapped this picture. No one would believe me without a picture.
Then, SSX 3 fired up, though there was no one sitting anywhere near the computer. I laughed until tears fell down my cheeks. Indeed, this was one of the strangest glitches I have ever seen in The Sims 2.
The computer, by the way, was deleted with a little help of moveobjects on. To this day, I have not a clue as to why this happened. SimJules was downstairs in the kitchen when it happened. I was just snapping random pictures of the ceiling. Why was I snapping random pictures of the ceiling? Because I LOVE the ceilings that came with AL, that's why.
Anyway, another bit of WTFery happened as soon as I loaded the lot. It seems that SimJules has been quite a naughty girl on ACR. She has not done a good job of being my pixelated avatar (at least in A Place Called Legacy).
*ahem* So... SimMe has had her very first woohoo with Jim Reeves who is married to Astrid! What I want to know is why and when this happened. I have no idea and I'm thinking it happened on a community lot, because it definitely did not happen at Astrid and Jim's wedding! Also, she has the want to get engaged to Adrian. That is never, ever, EVER going to happen! Take that want and shove it, SimJules! I knew her and Adrian were getting a little too close for comfort, but I didn't think she was in love with him already!
Don't get me wrong, I love ACR and would never play without it, but it's things like that that kind of annoy me.
So, that's it. I can never think of a nice way to end out my blog entries, both on here and on my personal journal.
I honestly think this is the longest entry I've made so far. Heh.
OH MY GOD. NANO STARTS ON SATURDAY. EEK! Am I ready? NO, I'M NOT.
