I think my parents firmly believe that we will have this baby and never tell them.  That must be why they are calling so much.

Me: "I promise you, I will not keep this birth a secret from you.  You will be one of the first to know!!"

In related news, Julia's OB/GYN has declared next Wednesday as the drop dead due date.  If there's no baby by then, it's pitossin time.  The midwife will be by tonight with secret midwife tactics to move things along so we can still plan on the home birth.

I'd better start boiling some water!
