The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity: Giselle du Coudray Known in some parts of the world as: Venus of The Banat The Great Archives Record: A true child of the night, making merry of everything and light of life. Want to know yours? Go here! >In real life news, the sinus infection wasn't waning after all. It was lulling me into a false sense of security, at which point it lashed out like a cobra strike and attacked with gusto. It also caught Bradley with its venom, so he stayed home from school and we whined at each other all day. At a little after noon, we discovered that his fish had decided to take a ride on that great porcelain bucket headed to the sky. A trip to Burger King for some mood enhancing grease ensued.
I spent 5 hours yesterday cleaning the living room, dining room, and hallway - and rearranging the furniture to suit my autumn/winter self. I find that my personality is very different between spring/summer and autumn/winter. Rather than furniture shop twice a year, which I'm quite sure would cause either an aneurysm or massive coronary in my husband, I change the furniture around. It's always so fun to see the kids' faces when they walk in and notice! *giggle*
The hat I started crocheting the other night has been frogged. I was trying to make it work with a different sized hook than the pattern called for and it just didn't. I shall try again once I find a 4.0 mm steel hook - which will require quite a hunt in gool ol' West Virginia.
Tomorrow is going to be filled to the brim with grocery shopping and trick or treating (totally bummed about this one, as Bradley says it would be "embarrassing" if I dressed up - the little snot), followed by the telling of ghost stories at our public library. Have I mentioned that libraries are my favorite places on earth? Oh - and librarians rock my socks!!
So I'm off for now. With vapor rub on my person and coffee in my hand, my couch and favorite afghan are calling my name. I think I hear my knitting needles in the mix, too . . .
