As you may know by now, Nintendo have a new verson of the Nintendo DS coming out where they have added the letter "i" at the end. So why should we care? The system specs are limited at this point in time, which is very shocking and so is the fact that at this point it wont be out in the UK or USA for at least 6 months. Why is it coming out in Japan now? The PSP is catching up on the Ds's sales- so Japan needs the new verson of the system before the all important X-Mas period...

What is known is the system will have two 0.3megapixels camaras- one on the inside where the mic is now and one on the outside. Both screens are a little bigger (its something like 5mm's bigger at most), there is no GBA port- so no rumble pack, Guitar Hero add-on or the awesome paddle add-on. There will be a internal Flash drive (no iea on size) and a SD Card port. These are for music (AAC format), photos and DSiWare- which is more or less WiiWare.

The systems OS will have a make other and look more like the Wii- it should have a built in web browser, an improved verson of the old Opera DS one. The last bit of info on the system is it will have better WiFi- stronger and faster so new games can be more stable online. The system is not to replace the old DS and Lite and no games are coming out on the DS will have any DSi extras as of yet. It looks to be a more multimedia based DS.
