It would be a nice thought if people would have more patience with me. I'm a pretty available guy but sometimes I can get pretty busy. Like right now, I'm pretty busy organizing my night to study. I just finished giving my dog a bath too even though my mom is in complete denial that I ever gave him a bath this past Saturday. Anyway, my passive aggressive dad figures since I'm a lazy, good-for-nothing son, I just don't care about putting away the clean dishes in the dishwasher or setting the table so he does it himself.
First he shouts from the kitchen, "Are the dishes clean or what?!" and the slamming and pounding start so I figure if he's going to devote so much energy into doing it, I might as well should let him finish. Since I don't know when dinner is going to start I also decide to not start setting the table just yet and continue planning my night. However, seconds after I hear the last fork being thrown into the drawer, I start hearing the plates being thrown onto the dining room table. So I also figure I'd let him finish what he started.
Then, my mom comes back from walking the dog and slowly walks into my room and reprimandedly (are you serious? that's not a word?) tells me, "Set the table. Dad's going it already. He's doing everything."
Some people have the respect to presume that when I'm in my room, I'm doing "my own thing". It's different with my parents, however, they presume I'm doing "nothing". I could have easily just helped my dad but I've done it before and have learned to never get in his way, especially if you're the one he's mad at. I also could have set the table but I figured what's an extra minute to finish planning? Some people just grow to lose their patience and it sucks for people like me who must drop everything and do what's expected of them at that very second. Hmm, passive aggressive father = passive aggressive son.
Anyway, plans for tonight: - Review for Accounting exam that's on Friday -
- Watch presentation -
- Write an evaluation of it.
- Read and study chapters 7 and 8 of Economics -
- Fit in some exercise time (1hr tops).
I hope everything will go according to plan and I am hoping I won't get sidetracked. I cannot afford to not pass these upcoming exams. Anyway, below is a pic of a calm morning where I had been up an hour or so and just loved the how blue it was outside:
