it's wednesday night, so that means one thing. nick is glued to the tv watching ghost hunters and i pretty much don't exist for 3 hours. except to grab pops and make popcorn. but, that's ok. it's the only show he really gets into, so it's fine for 3 hours once a week. this appears to be a scary one, because he is at wit's end right now. he my draw blood from my thigh.

not much has gone on since last week. nick is starting to feel better now. he still has his moments though, where he's irritable and can snap at the drop of a dime. he had his one on one appointment yesterday and he said it went well. we discussed the possibility of putting nick on suboxone. he said based on nick's health and progress, it isn't a great idea. so we passed on that. nick is making good progress though, so we're happy.

last week some time, my job told me they weren't going to keep me on any longer. but if i reapply for winter work, they will definitely hire me back. and then keep me on as full time staff through spring and summer. i almost went back to work at walmart. i was even hired on as an assistant again. i went to work last night to work 3rd shift, but the other manager showed up so i left. i worked overnights for 10 years, so i paid my dues and did my time. i wasn't about to stay if i didn't have to. i was really worried about money, so i made the mistake of taking the situation into my own hands without talking to nick. so, i went back with walmart. nick and i had a long talk though, and we both agreed that he makes enough money to support both of us for a while as long as we're careful about what we spend on. things will be a little tight, but we'll be ok. i told walmart to shove it. in a more polite way of course.

with everything that has been going on lately, i wanted to do something really special for nick. so i'm taking him to northern wisconsin. i was up there once before when the kids were still kind of young. it was a beautiful area and pretty secluded. i want to bring nick there just to get away from everything for the weekend. my friend owns condos up that way, so we'll be staying there. the actual condo itself is a huge surprise for nick. he's going to love it. i'm really excited.

a couple of weeks ago, nick and i went to the roof of his work again. he took some really nice pictures. i don't have them uploaded yet, but i'll definitely have to post them when i do. they're really nice.

outside of that, not much else is going on with us. the kids are all doing really well. they're all happy and healthy. pretty soon, i'll get branden on weekends with the rest of the kids. so i need to get a room ready for him. i still haven't decided what i'm going to do with kid arrangements as far as the bedrooms go. it's something nick and i are going to discuss with the kids.

anyway. that's about all i really have to say this week. i'm sure i'll be back next week around this time.
