I finally managed to tweak Twisted Fates chapter 16 into something resembling coherent writing! *yay*
I'm now working on the final 2 scenes for this chapter, but unfortunately they're proving recalcitrant T.T I also have a confession to make - I'm addicted to writing blood-drinking scenes between Zero and Kaname... would you believe, I found yet another steamy blood-sharing session trying to insert itself into what should be a chapter about emotions and reunions. *rolls eyes at self* I'm hopeless, LOL. So in an attempt to preserve the original theme of the chapter, I've made Zero stubborn and moved that scene into the next chapter - although this chapter still contains Seductive!Kaname trying to tempt Zero to drink and face his vampire instincts. A (very) small teaser is under the cut. --
“You’ve been avoiding me because you’re hungry.” Zero gave a soft snort. “You’re imaging things.” Kaname took a step closer. “Oh? Then you don’t want my blood?” The hunter shook his head firmly, but failed to hide the small flinch at the word blood. Kaname took another step, determined to make the other vampire admit to his thirst. “You aren’t tempted at all when you think of the flavour? The texture? You don’t long for the warmth of it filling your mouth and your senses, the way it glides silkily down your throat…” “Stop it! Damn you Kuran! Stop this right now! Get out!” Kaname knew the hunter was close to breaking. His nonchalant stance couldn’t disguise the way his frame was trembling as he fought against his nature. He therefore ignored Zero’s injunction, advancing once more, and continuing his tempting speech. "You want my blood, Zero. I know you do. You’ve been craving it constantly since that first taste, and you’re still craving it now. You cannot deny it, the bond screams to me of your hunger…”-- If the muses are kind, the chapter will be out next week. Devil's Pawn news is that I (finally!) started work on chapter 6 - after being massively inspired by VK Guilty episode 2 8D ... Ichiou sitting in that chair with the cane in one hand and a glass in the other... and the scene in the car! *squeals* But I digress :D
The chapter will feature Ichiou exerting his control over Kaname's life, pushing the pureblood in the hope of making him angry enough to lash out and deserve punishment.
Takuma tries his best to be supportive - despite Kaname's reluctance to accept help from anyone.
Ichiou is itching to make good on his promise of getting Kaname to beg, and begins to wonder if he should wait for Kaname to defy him and give him a valid excuse, or if he should just call him in outright regardless of the consequences... but then a report from one of Kaname's guards brings him valuable information... The plot thickens! and so does the whip! 8P |
