Summary: Bou and Kanon clean their rooms, and when Bou goes to check Kanon's room, he finds something he wasn't quite expecting.

Bou sighed heavily and let his hands fall onto his hips, glaring at the large garbage bag in front of him, filled and tied with most to all of the junk that was laying around in his room. He frowned and held down the temptation to pout--

The floor was still barely visible.

As if on cue, to save the blonde from the swarm of garbage, Kanon announced his presence with a similar sigh. Bou turned with a bored face, turning into a questioning one when the dark-haired one stared at the rest of his room.

"What?"

"That," Kanon blinked. "Is a lot of junk." Bou frowned at him, brows scrunching.

"And?"

"I can see your floor."

Bou's frown deepened and he pushed past Kanon, opting to go to his room mate's room to see just how different their floors were.

Sadly, he was let down when Kanon's room was already cleaned. Spring cleaning... The blonde huffed. Just because Kanon had less to clean, didn't mean he had to  go and tease Bou for--

The blonde's attention was drawn to a single piece of paper lying innocently on Kanon's desk, almost out of place in the spotless room. Upon walking closer to the paper, Bou found child-like doodles along the corners and edges; most to all were of flowers, swirls, and hearts. Fingers traced along the designs as doe-like eyes stared at them curiously. He skimmed over the kanji delicately written in the center, and had to pause and reread the poem slowly. For no real reason, the blonde blushed, almost jumping when he heard Kanon speak from behind him.

"It's not very good, i'm afraid..." he drawled with a light frown, stepping over to join Bou at the desk. The blonde looked from Kanon to the paper and let his head fall to one side before falling to the other, debating on whether to believe Kanon's statement.

"I never knew you to be a poet," the blonde mused, "But ...I like it." Bou decided with a curt nod, a smile poking at the ends of his lips.

Somewhere in the back of his head, someone asked who the poem was about. Not to mention who was able to inspire such a creative waltz with words from one of his best friends. Did he feel... jealous? The words were weaved together beautifully, the kanji was graceful and flowed with a trickling river in the early spring, Bou wanted to scan it over again, not sure on why he was so attracted to it.

"...I really do. It's beautiful... The way everything flows together gives off a shy but confident feel." he paused. "I think it's really good, actually." he laughed lightly, looking up to see Kanon blush lightly at him before looking back to the poem.

"Y-you really think so?" the dark-haired one asked timidly, making the blonde crack one of his cute smiles.

"Of course." he turned to Kanon with an almost knowing look, which seemed to take him by surprise; the blush that spread across his cheeks said so. Despite that, he laughed.

"Well," Kanon started, picking up the sheet of paper with a careful air and presenting it to Bou, "You can have it." he insisted, smiling at the blush that the blonde soon displayed. Their eyes met, both hinting at a light unnamed sparkle. They smirked almost simultaneously.

"All right." Bou said airily, a smile tugging at his lips. "Thank you."

"Not a problem." They stood there for a few moments, attempting to read each others eyes. Smiling knowingly at each other, their lips met in a soft graze.

"Not a problem at all."
