Tuesday we did trashing in my area, and got a few things without even trying. There was a giant TV put out at a house, and we were looking at it, and a guy there said that it needed an expensive projection bulb to fix it.
Wednesday's adventure, we went to the thrift store to drop off a seed spreader and a vacuum, and I bought computer speakers and Hob got some cords for her speakers, and a coffee cup warmer.
Boomer had to send a DVD to someone through the mail, and we went to do that simple thing, but it was late and the Green Tree post office sent us to another post office in Robinson. I wanted to get the disk out right away, so we went.
The post office is right in the shopping center across from Ikea, and Hobnose wanted to go in to Joann Fabrics to look for candle making stuff, like wax and jars. Tevnon was making candles in Texas, and Hobnose caught on to it. They didn't have a whole lot, no pellets of wax, just big blocks, so she got cheap tea lights to use and scent sticks. Hobnose has a different way to make candles, she puts the wax in jars and heats them on an electric coffee mug warmer. The wax melts melts and gives off scent, but there's no flame to worry about.
After that Hob wanted to go to Toys R Us across the street, so we did, looking for any new Dog toys and at battery powered scooters and Hannah Montana amp accessories. After that we went to Ikea for the hot Dog special at their lunch counter, and then Hobnose showed me some lights she saw there, they were ball lights, lots of bulbs on a string, or in the shape of a chandelier, each with an LED inside, and a power cube on the cord. It's a neat way to get an even light, maybe not very bright, it was hard to tell in a bright store like that, but they are indoor and outdoor.
We came home and played around with our junk from the thrift store, and put on Spaceballs and watched it, great to see Barf the Mog again, and Hob liked his ears and tail and how they moved.
