Ok, so ya know that polyamory dinner I mentioned that obsidiandice and I went to last week? Well, at the end of the night I ended up confessing to the hostess about my crush on her boyfriend, and to make a long story short he and I had our first date last night.

And it was kind of amazing. <3

We had coffee and told each other our philosophies and life stories and went to Angles (GSA) together and had fierce cuddles on a campus couch. XD

And then I got to come home to my obsidiandice and snuggle and watch the Daily Show and fall asleep. Best night in a long time. <3 <3

So in the interest of keeping things flowing smoothly, and since I have already talked to my partner about events/thoughts/feelings, I have emailed the crush-in-question's girlfriend and requested an update session to make sure she's still ok with everything. Need to know where it's ok to go from here. Because I really value her friendship, too.

In other news, incredibly psyched for Halloween tomorrow! It's a holy day for me! And yes, the promised details of my costume will be posted tomorrow, but only after I've shown it off a little. ;) But I'll be wearing it all day, including to classes, so yeah, awesomeness.
