Live Cashback by gentlemistress (ebay)

Another piece of useful information...

Live.com is giving 25% cashback on purchases made via their search engine and paid via Paypal.

(If you use Ebay, only Buy It Now is eligible.)

You will need some kind of account associated with Microsoft. Ie, Live, hotmail, msn, xbox live, etc...

/>The instructions can be kinda confusing so here goes.

1. Go to Live.com

2. Search for something (example: vaio)

3. Find the "$" in gold with the words "Live Search Cashback".

4. Pick a store or ebay.

5. Pick an item and checkout.

!!!!! Before pressing Checkout make sure that it says eligible for Live Search Cashback and tells you how much you will be receiving !!!!! It must say this or you won't be eligible.

6. Pay for your item.

7. Check your store messages or email account for cashback email.

8. Click the link.

9. Sign into your Microsoft related account.

10. In about 2 - 3 days the amount should show up in your cashback account.

11. As long as it is over $5, you will be eligible to receive your money in 60 days (If you can wait that long.)

As with all rebates, I suggest only spending what you would have spent anyway and consider the rebate a bonus.

The maximum is $2500 in rebates and that's alot of spending but I'm sure you can do it!!

Also, not sure about other stores but with Ebay shop in about 45 increments.

Then log out for about an hour and go at from live.com again.

I'm a bit confused on their rules so that should cover it.

"You must successfully complete an eligible purchase on www.eBay.com using "Buy-It-Now" within sixty (60) minutes after you click on an eBay paid search advertisement marked with the Live Search cashback logo (such sixty (60) minute period shall be referred to herein as an "Online Session").

Cashback Rewards will apply only to the first eligible item you commit to buy on www.eBay.com during an Online Session. Cashback Rewards will not be applied to any additional items or purchases. A single listing with multiple items will be considered one item for the purposes of these terms and conditions. The following purchases on www.eBay.com are not eligible for Cashback Rewards ("Excluded eBay Purchases"):

purchases that are completed on www.express.ebay.com or www.half.ebay.com;
purchases of automobiles or other vehicles;
purchases of real estate;
purchases that are completed using a third party checkout system.

The Cashback Rewards that you are eligible to obtain from Microsoft will be disclosed to you on www.eBay.com and will be equal to a percentage of the final sale price of the first item purchased during an Online Session (excluding shipping and handling fees, insurance fees and other such fees), for up to a maximum of $200.00 per Online Session. Cashback Rewards will be available in your Program account to transfer to your PayPal account approximately sixty (60) days of the date on which you complete your purchase on eBay.com. You must have a PayPal account in order to receive Cashback Rewards for purchases on www.eBay.com. You may not redeem any Cashback Rewards until you have earned a total of $5.00 in Cashback Rewards;

You may receive Cashback Rewards for up to a maximum of twelve (12) Online Sessions per account on www.eBay.com. Once you have completed twelve (12) Online Sessions under any eBay.com account, you will no longer be eligible to receive Cashback Rewards for purchases made under such eBay.com account
The Program is open only to confirmed registered members of www.eBay.com who (a) click on an eBay paid search advertisement marked with the Live Search cashback logo, (b) are legal residents of the United States, (c) have a residence located in the United States tied to their account on www.eBay.com, (d) are eighteen (18) years of age or older and (e) satisfy the requirements set forth herein and in the Microsoft Program Terms
