I suck at keeping up with everything. I kind of feel like I'm out of the loop with fandom itself, and with all of y'all. But I'm still here, even if I haven't participated much lately.

I'm going to be away for the weekend, visiting some friends from high school - I'm not looking forward to the five-hour drive to Jacksonville, but I'm looking forward to seeing them. I'll be back some time on Sunday, I'm not sure when.

I have a shitload of stuff to take care of before the LA trip next week. Technically, I have less than a week, and I'll be out of town the next two days. Oh well, I'll get it all done, even if it's in just under the wire.

I'm currently acquiring "The Making of Me" (something John Barrowman did), and I need to write a spoiler report later. I also need to get some stuff packed for my little overnight trip. Change of clothes, toothbrush and floss, camera, money - pretty straightforward stuff. ;)

Ugh, speaking of money, my sister has to borrow $100 from me - again. I'm not going to become her personal fucking ATM machine, not this time. We already went through that, and there's no way she's going to be able to pay this back, much less any more she borrows.

She apparently told my mom that she wishes I wasn't going to LA because she needs to borrow money. Um, I'm sorry, but this is the REASON I have money - I have been saving up because I want to go to LA and see my friends, not because I want to support my sister while she tries to live beyond her means.

I have a little over $3,000 in the bank right now - that's 10 months of writing the news for CSI Files (technically more since I have to pay a wire transfer fee of $15 each time I receive a payment). I've managed to save all that money in the past year, and she's going to begrudge me a trip that I want to take because she can't hold on to money and can't manage her finances for shit?

I'm sorry, but no. Fuck off.

Anyway, I loves y'all, and I'll have to try to get more involved when I get back from my little trip. *smooches*
