So: my animation test is still coming along. I manage to sneak some time to do a bunch of other drawings which I will upload this evening/Friday.

This was not a good day but the crown jewel of this craptacular day is this site. THANK YOU CARTOON BREW FOR LINKING THAT SITE >( !!!!

I just love the "I can't decide" rhetoric they use in this site.

"...Historically, the creation of animation required specific skills, limiting those who can express their creativity..."

WELL? WHICH IS IT? THE ONES WHO CAN OR CANNOT EXPRESS THEIR CREATIVITY?

Also: Of course it requires specific skills. Do you want that guy spitting on your burger in Burger King to fix your broken car? Would you pay for a comic/book populated by stick people and bad writing?

"...The site provides users with a library of interesting characters, backgrounds, props, sound effects and music for use in creating their own unique animations. Creators can customize their animations with a number of tools and features that allow them to create truly unique works of expression..."

Oh wow. You can express yourself uniquely with stock characters. That's like what... telling people that the Campbell Soup you just reheated is a consomme worthy of the likes of Thomas Keller, Ferran Adria, or Eric Ripert?

Where's that bloody craftsman quote when you need it? *GROWL*
