Yesterday was an incredibly busy day as I had the first of the teaching training sessions. It really is an all day thing. By the time I got home I was absolutely shattered. It's not physical activity, but it's still really hard work. They throw a lot of information at you over and over again. It's useful, but it's tricky to stay on top of it all. Plus there are assignments. None seem to be huge, thankfully, but given how many there I think I want to stay on top of them. If I do them straight away, they will stay manageable. If I let them slide - well, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty.
That being the case, today's first priority was to get the first draft of the first two assignments done, as well as the journal entry I have to do after each session. I've done that and sent the drafts off to the tutor as instructed. I have also tweaked an animal bone report and sent that off, and tweaked an article on sheep feet and sent that off to my co-author. Hopefully, the latter will be submitted to a journal soon. I do still have another article to edit, which I hope to start later this week. But, all in all, I'm feeling as if I had a productive day.
I've already been around Bardic Web and cleared out my to-do list, although it is the time of day when my co-writers start to appear so my nice empty list probably won't stay empty for long *lol*
Tomorrow, I'm teaching in the afternoon, so I'll do my usual quick zip around in the morning and then go off to do that. Friday I'm expecting to have at home. |
