HBO's free this weekend. I wouldn't have known if my friend Bobb hadn't broadcast the word. Usually I hear about these free weekends through DishTV in their mailings, but there was no word in the latest. Matter of fact, I don't remember any word for the past 18 months or so. Is there some reason HBO (and likely the other premium channels) would want to give away their product without telling me? Maybe they notify selected markets but make the channels available nationwide?

Hmm, and maybe there's an RSS feed somewhere that would announce these things.
