I got myself a brand new iPod today, so instead of working, I am setting it up and installing programmes and stuff. I'm very excited about my new toy.

I can convert some video formats to iPod mp4 (I already have my favourite movie, The Prestige, up and going), but I have a problem with my Stargate files. The DVDs are "protected" and even a paid programme won't convert them, and the vid files I have from a friend are unknown format for the converter (which claims it can convert just about anything). Guess I'll have to ask someone more computer-literate about overriding the protection (I BOUGHT the DVDs, so that should not be illegal?) and about an anything-to-AVI converter.

Because I want SG1 on my iPod NOW.

Berlin will be better times, as Germany has iTunes shop working...
