Bombay Stock Exchange is the oldest in Asia with a rich heritage. BSE took many brokers to high level in last 3 centuries in its 133 existence. BSE was was established as "The Native Share Stock Brokers' Association" in 1875. BSE is India's first recognized stock market in the year 1956. The market capitalization as on December 31, 2007 stood at USD 1.79 trillion. BSE has totally 4,700 listed companies and are classified into A, B, S, T and Z groups.
BSE faced many leap in past 20 days,main reason for this is the FIS who sold their stock and went back. The reason they sold is because Global Economic Crisis. Muhurath a special day of stock Market conducted every year on the day of Diwali. Diwali is on Oct 27 and the points before Diwali was below 8000 and after this Muhurath sensex reached more than 9000 points which made all the inverters to take a deep breath. Now the sensex is on a green sign so lets hope for the best in coming days.
