Filter


So the hair dye of the week is red. Not the popular copper color everyone is wearing lately, but like a bright cherry red. Guess I’m just in a red mood. It happens.

But I was in a shop getting some tea this morning and this lady was staring at me. So what do I do? I stare back. It’s only natural. When she finally says something, it’s ‘Oh god that’s really a god-awful red’. I just smiled… well, my kind of smile, which isn’t really much of a smile at all. I got my tea and I walked out.

My point is that some people don’t have a filter. Something goes through their head and it comes out of their mouth without any barrier in between. I’ve found that if I’m going to surround myself with people, it’s this type. I like people who say what they think. It means I know them… I know what to expect even if it’s the unexpected.

Plus, the more people are talking on and on about everything going on in their heads, the less I’m required to say.

And my hair is red. Huh.
