I've just read about Google's new browser called Google Chrome on a blog I read daily. I decided to give it a try, being a long time Firefox user I was reluctant at first. I'm using it right now and I'll admit I really live it. It is very minimal looking which I love and you get the full screen (except for the search bar of course) for your website viewing. It is really fast and each tab holds its own memory; so if a site crashes only that tab is gone not the entire browser. So its keeps everything safe, quick and easy. Set up was also fast, it even took all of my bookmarks from Firefox over to Chrome. I'm not sure if I will stick with this browser for the long run of eventually shift back to the familiar but so far I'm really enjoying it. At first I didn't like the lack of "Home Page" button, but you can go to options and have one displayed. But when you go to a new tab it automatically takes you to the homepage which is what I would go anyhow. Also the Google Chrome homepage has a feature that show your last viewed sites and bookmarks right on that page.
Sorry I haven't been online lately. I've been working on recording and writing some music, re-designing and re-designing my website.
My camera died today. Usually it doesn't want to turn on, but after a little fussing it will. But no luck. I'll be asking for a new one for Christmas. Its the only thing I can think of.
Well, back to website editing. |
