I got a call for my mother. Upon instinct I just passed him to her current number and explained that she's not using the number that he is calling now. He asks if I'm my mother's daughter and I said yes. He thanks me and puts down the phone.

Less than 5 seconds later, he calls back. He asks if I'm still studying and I said no. He asks again if I'm looking for a job and I said no. He asks yet again if I'm in sales and I said no. He said he liked my voice and find my english good and I asked him if the job is 10,000 dollars. He said teasingly you'll never know. Then I said no thanks, please call my mom if you're looking for her.

I know I'm being offered a sales job but what makes me smile is a simple compliment... A good voice and a good command of english.

I'm so easily pleased. *sighs dreamily*
