She is from Barcelona.  I asked her what the closest metro stop to her house was, she said Diagonal.  I stayed at the college about two blocks from that metro stop.  Many of my classes were held at the maritime museum across the street from there. 
Not to mention, damn, it felt good to speak Spanish again.  I can tell it's gotten worse, but who cares.  All that matters is that I got to speak it again....and with a really attractive Spanish girl.
 

I lived about four trees down on the left.  If I were to have tilted the camera nearly straight down and to the right instead, it would be a picture of diagonal metro station.
