I spent the last week...not writing. I've been swamped with school and a huge vocal audition. I passed prelimanaries though! Now I have to learn the rest of the music for the actual audition. I'm going to write though, I swear! I have a long weekend because of labor day, so in between other activities, I can hopefully get some work done. Really. In other news, I'ma give you a preview to enjoy while I'm being lazy working.

Yagami Light was having a bad day. Not that normal days were much better than this one, but he classified this particular day as “bad” simply because he did not know what else to call it. He had run out of coffee (Again), his printer refused to work, and he had a splitting headache. All these things were relatively normal (Even the printer. He meant to get a new one, he just had not had time.), except that when he got home from work on this “bad” day, there was a bright orange note on the door to his apartment. It was an eviction notice. Of course, it was not because he had not been paying his rent (He was far too responsible for that), rather his landlord had gotten fed up with Light’s many fans, especially the ones that tended to leave giant messages for him in spray-paint on the walls of the building. Naturally Light had expected this eventually, it always happened. His landlord got a little too annoyed at always having to call someone to have them fix the damages that Light’s stalkers caused, and decided that he could not handle having the detective in his building anymore. Although, being the good person that he was, Light always payed for the repairs. He could afford it easily, so it was not a problem for him, though it did get bothersome after a while.

So, Light had to find a new apartment. He was running out of options, as many landlords in the city had already had him as a tenant, and they knew how much trouble his fans caused.

He met with L for dinner that night, and when the older man asked what was wrong, as Light knew he would, the brunette told him of his dilemma. “Light-kun, why don’t you come live with me? It’s a relatively large apartment, and the second bedroom isn’t being used.”

Gasp! What do you think? Will Light move in with him? Yeah...you probably don't even know what I'm talking about. I'm not telling, that would ruin the story. This preview feels like a sucky preview, and normally I try harder to find one that's completely obscure and won't ruin the story, but I'm tired, and I have math and science homework. I hate school.
I'm writing, I swear. I've got 10 and 2/3 pages, and there'll be at least 15 after the weekend. I know I write slow. It's totally not my fault. I'm good at writing myself into corners. I'll talk to you peeps later, I have to go study now. At least I'm done with the stupid Spanish quiz, even though that's one of my best classes. I'm pretty sure I aced it, so I'm not worried in the least bit.
