so, during the Inside the Actor's Studio interview, Dan Radcliffe said that he wants to play Bobby in Stephen Sondheim's Company.
Student #7- Are there stage roles he wants to do? Shakespeare (he’d like to learn), dream role is Bobby in “Company” (in 20 years)
woooooooow. that's so cool. i did Company around this time last year and that show is a bitch. great show. wonderful show, but Sondheim is no joke. Company is the kind of show that is showcases the lives of the sophisticated, ritzy married/divorcing/single people of New York. i like it a lot. i'd like to do it again with a more professional cast and crew. i hope that he gets to play Bobby one day. it'd be in the far future, of course since Bobby turns 35 in the show and that's basically the point. that gives lots of time for Dan to learn to sing [please, Jesus, let this boy be hiding a stellar tenor singing voice in his tiny body] and learn to read music! i really wanna see Dan in a musical one day. that would be great. i wanna see Equus, too, but i have no one to go to NYC with. i could scrape up some dough and go alone, but i'm not going to New York City alone in WINTER to see Dan in Equus. nah, sir. not i. but yeah. end of tangent.
the rest of the interview sounded really funny and Dan entertained the crowd like he usually does. i hope it airs soon. it's always a treat to see him. i hope he shaved...probably didn't.

ps - to showcase the awesome that is Company, here's 2007 Tony Nominee [HE WAS ROBBED OF HIS TONY THAT YEAR! HE LOST TO DAVID HYDE PIERCE! WTF?] Raul Esparza as Bobby in the 2006 Broadway Revival of Company.
pps - accompaning yourself on the piano isn't required. this production just wanted to show off and have the cast play their own effing instruments like hardcore badasses.
