Thieves made off with a laptop,iPod, DVD player and other items after entering several cars throughout Sheboygan Countyin recent days, the Sheboygan County Sheriff'sDepartment reported Monday.

The thefts, which do not appear to be related, were reported inElkhart Lake, Glenbeulah and Cedar Grove, said Capt. Dave Adams. No arrests have been made.

According to Adams:

The first theft was reported Friday morning and occurred at 112 W. Main Ave. inGlenbeulah. Christina Waters, 17, said numerous items were taken Thursday night or Friday morning from her unlocked car, including a silveriPod, a Social Security card, a purse, a graphing calculator and a high schoolring.

AHewlitt-Packard laptopwas stolen sometime before 11 a.m. Sunday from a car parked outside the Osthoff Resortin Elkhart Lake. Laura Loechler-Daly, 46, of Hopkins, Minn., told deputies she thought her car was locked.

James and Beth Demasterreported two cars at their home, 405 S. Fifth St. in Cedar Grove, were entered sometime before Sunday evening. The thief or thieves took a DVD player, flashlight and change.
