After a week of Sixth Form, I decided to give myself a break and go out yesterday. I don't think I've had so much fun in a while! Anyway, it's another long post. There's a bit of a rant in there, too.

So, at first it was just Laura and me. And we were tired. I'd been having trouble adjusting to the new weekday routine (waking up at 7... Yick.) and she... was just tired, really. o.O

We talked. And then wasps attacked us a few times. Then Sophie and Nat showed up with huge bottles of Boost! So we stole a bit, got really hyper and spent a while running away from the evil wasps (the damn things were everywhere!) and eventually we decided that it was the Boost they wanted. So what did we do? We drank the lot. Which resulted in the sugar rush to end all sugar rushes. Cue the maddened giggling, screaming and laughing at nothing in particular. Laura pretended to be Batman, I pretended I was the queen and gave out free knighthoods ("I dub thee Sir Sophie!") and then we proceeded on an epic quest to claim legal ownership of as many shoes as we could, just to see who was the better scavenger of us all.

In the end, we managed to get our mitts on a full litre of Boost, about thirty mint chocolate sticks, a litre of Dr. Pepper, a bottle of something that was a mixture of several energy drinks all rolled into one and twenty shoes, complete with owners' feet. Sophie and I pwned Laura several times over, and she bloody well knows we did. xD

Unfortunately, the day took a slightly darker turn. It began to rain and we had a bunch of idiots hurl unprovoked insults at us on the way home (and guess what! We'd never seen them before in our lives!) which resulted in us having to hide in TK Maxx for a few minutes to ensure that they didn't follow us. Part of me was hoping that they wouldn't because they were three guys and we were only two girls, but part of me also knew that they were dim-witted enough to try anything. It happened near to KFC, which freaked Laura out because that was where the noobs followed her and her step-brother from on the day he was attacked. We looked around the shop for a few minutes and then made our cautious way home, and that was all we saw of them.

I don't know what it is that makes these guys think they can go around and treat people they don't even know like rubbish. I mean, honestly, all you have to do is walk down a street and walk past a few of them and there's a big chance that they'll start something. You don't need to look at them, you don't need to touch them or say anything to them. They don't look for a reason to start trouble anymore, and it's pretty annoying. You know how if you're polite, you smile at someone as you pass them in the street? Smile pleasantly at one of these jerks and you're giving them an invitation to hurl a load of verbal abuse at you. Why? o.O

And on top of that, we got back to Laura's and were confronted with some bad news. They'd had to go out to rush one of her cats (Snoopy) to the vets after he was run over. The car wasn't going too fast as it was just pulling out of the drive, but he had received a broken leg and hip. I learned later on over MSN that he'd had to be put into an oxygen tank and he wouldn't let anybody near him, which was worrying. I hope he'll be okay... he's a sweet little kitty. T_T

So, I've been poking around my bedroom to find things for my Photography project. The project -- creatively titled 'Things' -- is basically about... objects. It covers quite a range of things, from plants to household objects to pets and even more. And seeing as I'm a bit of a junk hoarder, I've found plenty of snazzy things like marbles, glass beads, bits of jewellery and stuff. Now to just figure out how to get the correct lighting conditions. I was thinking about scattering some glass beads and rose petals on a black sheet and setting candles up in the centre, turning out the lights and taking a picture using the candle-light for effect. I have some candles, but I don't know if I would be allowed to light them in school! x_X A-Levels are so frustrating.

I'm actually waiting for Laura to phone right now, but it's getting a bit late. It's nearly 2pm, and we arranged for her to phone at 12. Ah well, I need to do some work anyway... (Photography... Bleh. x_X)

Blimey! My life's actually busy for once!! D:

P.S. Nathan's just found a big spider in his Lego box! :D Epic win!

P.P.S. I want to be a storm blogger or a travel blogger. Maybe I should take a gap year between Sixth Form and Uni to go travelling around the UK or I could spend a year living in Northern Ireland with mah mamma! :D I dunno. There's a lot I'd like to do.
